I see people saying max Meyer would be good business, yeah he's free but wants silly wages and according to the video sky sports have of his 2017/ 18 stats he played 24 games zero goals zero assists and 9 chances created that's not a great return from attacking mid surely Fekir would be better business overall.

Ed is right. He was playing defensive mid. The coach thought he’d play better there because he has a good passing range and could dictate play more from a deeper role.

Spot on, Ed. Max Meyer (who I never rated really cos Brandt is the better AM/ no. 10) was switched to DM/ DLP by Tedesco, the Schalke manager at the start of last season so he would no longer be an option to replace Fekir and like I said earlier, he not good enough and definitely not better than Brandt and of course, Fekir.

Pulisic is going nowhere (him being American is irrelevant here), per his father who is his agent and he has said so for the past 18 months now. IMO, it would be a waste of time chasing down this rabbit hole.
