I'd like to ask a question, to Editor 1 or 2.

The departure of Pep Lijnders to NEC came as an unwanted surprise, his immediate return surprised me even more. Was there a particular reason he left NEC so pre-maturely? Did it not work out for him there or was the lure of a more prominent position at Liverpool impossible for him to turn down.

I was in Nijmegen for quite a while. Generally the locals were pissed off by him. He came midseason with NEC already on top of Dutch second division by some distance from the second placed team and somehow they lost form and failed to achieve promotion.
