Alison fever here today (I love it) ed002 you obviously have a vast amount of knowledge in the football world regarding financial and the other side of things that us mere mortal fans don't pay much attention to but do you watch much football as a fan? (I believe you are a Chelsea fan, but forgive me if I'm wrong) I ask this as I don't want to get into the financial side if things but having only seen Alison at anfield this season, 2 games in the Seria and the world cup I can't really say how much of a good keeper he is. a lot of talk saying he a quality keeper but can I ask what you think of him? I seen a lot of prem keepers and the la liga ones. I personally think after de gea (best keeper in world for me) then Courtois and oblak are the next best, would you put Alison in the same bracket as them 2?

{Ed002's Note - I think given there is only one year that could be considered then that is perhaps not enough to say if he is one of the top 4 or 5 goalkeepers in the world - ahead of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Hugo Lloris, Handanovic, Manuel Neuer, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Gianluigi Buffon etc., etc..}

Chelsea are one of a few teams that Ed002 vaguely follows or has a passing interest in, is it fair to say your more a fan of the sport in general Ed? A football renaissance man?

{Ed002's Note - You might want to look up my definition of "fan". I should say that I don't worry about results, league positions etc., and I have never owned a club football shirt or thrown beer or done anything involving a clenched fist or shouting.}

Absolute waste of beer!
I saw a video of england fans throwing Bert and a guy at the front didn’t, but was getting knocked everywhere and spilling it. i’d be turning round swinging at people if they made me waste a beer! The cues would be massive to get another one and it’s expensive from a bar! XD.
