Question for ed 02 and apologies if you've answered this already.

I've read that Allison would favour a move to London over Liverpool, do you know if this is true or just paper talk?

The reason I ask is because this was the case with Alexis Sanchez.

{Ed002's Note - He would favour a move to Madrid over England but the chances of that are diminishing. I don't know what his preference would be - living in Surrey close to Swinging London where all the hep cats want to be, or living in the grim, wet and cobbled streets of the Northwest of England where there would be a significant cultural change, smog, dead & dying pit ponies laying on the street, little chance of football of the highest quality and only chips and fried curry to eat.}

WonderDogSparky and yourself (Ed02) do have a similar view of the Northwest of England.

{Ed002's Note - Apparently.}

Have you ever considered a career in tourism, Ed002?

When you hang up your rodeo spurs, of course.

Ed2 Blunt as ever i see. On a serious note do u ever see a time when clubs in some of the least favourable cities (according to some ppl) would have their training bases in London. If stories are to be believed players have opted for clubs in London due to the city rather than the clubs.

{Ed002's Note - No but some clubs, like Liverpool and both Manchester sides, have offices in London. There is simply not the space available for training facolities. If you look at Chelsea, they own a 140 acre complex in Surrey - more than 10 times the entire Stamford Bridge complex including hotels, shops, restaurants etc.. Arsenal has a similar sized facility out near St Albans in Hertfordshire and Spurs facility, which is only about half that size, is out by the M25 at Waltham Cross. So London itself is not viable.}

Or live in the polluted, non-friendly and highly congested London, grab a bite at the Rabbit and Eagle where Harry the part time shoe polisher will serve you jellied eels and mash and a pint of room temperature Shedhead .

Haha, hep cats.
I have a feeling he'll replace Courtois at Chelsea, but who bloody knows at this point. Maybe the Champion's League and Bobby buying everyone a beer will convince him. Or it could depend on Willian and a spit-roast at Rodizio Preto, who bloody knows.
Personally, I would have reservations about a player who isn't keen to sign for the club from Day 1.

{Ed002's Note - Actually Willain is a part owner of a restaurant called Babbo.}

To be fair Ed002 when you said there would be a significant cultural change, smog, dead and dying pit ponies laying on the street, little chance of football of the highest quality and only chips and fried curry, I thought Luton Town had made a bit for him.

To be honest though, if you want to win stuff, surely 'oop north' is where it's at for football players traditionally? Certainly in my lifetime more trophies have gone to teams outside of glorious London.

{Ed002's Note - Neither of the Manchester clubs have any interest in him.}

I’m sure if we’re spending £60million we can use a bit of cash to clean the dead and dying pit ponies up from the streets and dump them in the Thames 👍.
