Cheers for the update Ed. William Carvalho to Real Betis has caught me a bit off guard, not the most mobile player but still quite highly rated and I thought a bigger club would come in for him. Though on his side of things I can understand that any club other then Sporting is preferable.

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure what you mean by "bigger team", Real Betis are a good side with a large stadium and he will be well suited there - which he wouldn't have been in England where I assume you

Ed002, I was thinking more a Champions League side in any of the major leagues, as he’s been linked to a few over the years (Inter Milan, was the one I had in mind) . Didn’t mean to imply Real Betis were a “small side”, not sure what you were implying torwards the end of your reply, but I agree that he wouldn’t suit the speed of the English football.

{Ed002's Note - Inter were ready to utilise some of their loan players to make the deal attractive when Kondogbia went and Carraro was deemed not good enough but the added Radja Nainggolan so there was no need.}
