Courtois will be back from the world cup next week and should join Real or Athletico (his kids are in Madrid and it's where he wants to be) . So that should start the goal keeper merry go round. Courtois, Oblak, Navas, Allison might all be in that mix.

Haven't posted in a while even though I'm regularly on the site. Have to weigh in on the GK debate though. I'd definitely like to see Ward get an opportunity to claim top spot. I think with all the negative attention our other 2 keepers get it might spur him on. He'll know that the spotlight will be squarely fixed on him and that might be just be what makes him more determined to succeed.

We don't see what Klopp and his staff see every day in training, but I'd like to see Ward given a try as well. It depends on if Klopp sees that as the straw that could finally break the camel's back in the case of Karius's already fragile confidence.
He's backed Karius recently, to do a sudden u-turn on that would be out of character for Klopp.
I think Karius will be given the chance to prove he can rise above it. If he fails, Ward will get his chance.

I don't know who the better keeper but if Klopp decided on Karius then he must have a very good reason for doing that . His job depends on his choice not my job or yours.
