Good morning Ed001 mate now that the World Cup is all but done and we all turn our thoughts to the new season (thank god) what's your expectations for us this season. Personally if we address our weak points in the side and we all know them without bringing it all up again I think we should go close this season to getting that premier league title.
Up the pool.

{Ed001's Note - I expect us to be challenging for the title and hopefully win a cup.}

I’d take that mate challenging for prem and champions league winners be quite a good season 👏🏻.

I can see salah getting us in another ucl final.

I can see Firmino improving even more, just not sure if Salah can improve on last season.

I still think the squad has failed to address its biggest weaknesses.

Burkeyboy Salah might improve still, don’t forget early on in the season he was wasting chances left right and center and lots of people (mostly mancs and blue noses) kept saying how poor his finishing was.
So if he starts as he finished this time, he could be going for more records lol.

{Ed025's Note - second season syndrome means he wont be quite as effective as he was last season mate, defenders will know more about him now and im not saying worked him out but they will be more savvy imo..

Ron is the transfer window over?
Keep calm and support the team lol
I do agree with you but it is hard task to get want you want always and sometimes patience is better then panic.

Ron,

I would agree there is still some work to do.
Goalkeeper was and has been our biggest weakness since Pepe Reina was at the club, it must be resolved, and to be honest, I would take Butland over Migs and Karius any day, he is better than both, although not top notch
I would also like a replacement for Coutinho as we lacked creativity in some games at the end of last season and we need that additional spark with goals to his game ( Prob Fekir)
I would also have liked a striker, as Ings, Sturridge and possibly Origi will all be moving on, I would have personally gone for a big striker with strength and height to his game, as we lack a back up plan in the games were teams close us down (someone of the Edin Dzeko ilk)
Just my thoughts, open for honest discussion.

Fekir and a keeper who is at least an upgrade on Migs and "he who shall not be mentioned on this hallowed day", and I believe we are ready.

As well as the other new signings, I'm excited to see Brewster get a run out after all of the hype!

I think we need more strength in depth. The bench was full of kids for some games. I think that's our 2nd most important priority (after a new keeper that is! )

We need a keeper first and foremost it's ridiculous to even consider a tittle challenge with the keepers we have.

If Leicester can win the title with Kasper in goal then anything is possible.
There is no way he is better then Karius im not having that at all
I hope we buy no keeper and he is our keeper all season.

There’s an amnesty, we aren’t talking about a certain player today.

Ya know, I wouldn't be unhappy with dzecko. Knows salah well and certainly knows how to find him.

If salah scores 15 goals it will be an achievement. I reckon he will go over 20 though. Anythung else is gravy.

Gk
Am and
Striker. Although I think origi is good cover as too is solanke. Origi for the wings, solanke down the middle. They have goals in them. But I'd take another high class f.

Valid point by Johncrow. As usual mate.

Leicester did it with kasper, but honestly, I would rather kasper were in our goal than karius. I hate saying that, it gives me a horrid feeling but it's true. Can't let sentiment get in the way of our clubs ambition.

Fair point ed25, there is plenty of examples of players who had a fantastic first season then 2nd season syndrome kicked in ;_;
Although there is a few who defenders still don’t know how to deal with, let’s hope he becomes one of them haha.
