Football may or may not be coming home, fingers crossed it is!

But 13 families have their loved ones back and a huge amount of gratitude needs to go to the ones who helped rescue them. I hope Liverpool offer something to the lads effected and the divers who risked their lives.

football may be coming home but those lads definitely are!

{Ed025's Note - i cant see liverpool donating anything to be honest Wyred, they are absolute minge bags when it comes to charities mate, and thats the truth not me with my everton hat on..

I'd say we have got a bit better regarding charities and such things. A few of the players such as trent have been doing visits and things.
Still not the best but let's hope we can continue getting better.

And thankfully all are safe now. An outstanding effort and a show of incredible bravery by all concerend, unfortunately one diver lost his life but those boys now have many years to live well and make that sacrifice one that was worth giving.

Your not wrong ed025, I was hoping they could use it as an opportunity to improve that side of the club, think we are miles behind Everton in terms of what they do for charities/ local community. In the grand scheme of things what does sending over a box of shirts/ merch cost when they pay a player £100,000's a week.

{Ed025's Note - im totally with you on that Wyred, im really proud of the way everton in the community conducts itself mate, not only the donations but that they send the youngsters out to help in disabled and elderly homes as part of their schooling, its a great grounding for them and hopefully it will make them better human beings..

True Ed25, if one club were to do anything for them it'd be Everton. If only we did more for communities/ charities as much as they do. They deserve massive respect for the work they do, other clubs should take a leaf out of their book.

{Ed025's Note - i agree salah and it makes me very proud to be blue when i hear of their great work..pity about the football really mate.. :)

The poor lads have got a invite to visit Old Trafford later this season according to BBC news, there's only so much anyone can be expected to endure.

But hats off to MU's public relations dept, played well.
