Not if Belgium win, Migs is on his way. Unless we sign another one of their squad, which I really don't see happening, although there's a couple I'd fancy. Meunier to replace Clyne would be nice, and Tielemans is an excellent young player imo.

I really, really rate Tielemans. However, given he has basically taken the Fabinho role at Monaco, I'd say its unlikely. We don't need to spend more money on defensive midfielders, but a decent AM like Fekir, imo.

Actually, my perfect Belgian recruit would actually be Alderweireld.

I know Lovren has done very well of late, but I still rate Alderweireld as a step up.

He's a RCB, hence VVD stays LCB and I believe they will work perfectly together.

He would be expensive - I reckon around £40m at a guess - but, say, Butland and Alderweireld for the price of Alisson? Its a tough call.

Very unlikely to happen, but I'd be very pleased!

cant think- unless I'm having a senior moment- of any of the Croatian squad apart from DL plying their trade in the EPL.

France, apart from Lloris and Giroud are fairly young on the whole - got a good few tournaments together yet.

Yep our Big Croat is the only senior international in the Prem. Everton have that Vlasic youngster. We're not 'in the mix' for Alderwiereld for many reasons, although I agree he would be a great signing and partner for VVD. But he will cost big money to sign and massive wages, he's 29 and we have Lovren, Matip and Gomez already. We can't sign everyone.

@Zed I agree Fekir should be the priority, was just dreaming of Tielemans, but we're sorted for CMs now. Fortunately or unfortunately, I don't think we'll have any Belgians come August 10th.

What evidence is there to suggest Migs is on his way? He could easily regain his starting place if we don’t sign a keeper.
