Eds Is there any chance Studge could stay this season as back up?

{Ed002's Note - Of course but would he get a game?}

I don't understand why klopp keeps him? He doesn't fit well with our style of play and despite being a good player he doesn't play. Klopp should've sold him day one. I really like him though.

Might get a few if Solanke go's out on loan and Ings gets his wish and moves on. Origi likely to move also would only leave Brewster as back up to Bobby? Unless Origi leaves also.

Do you no what we are looking to do with all the strikers. Im guessing 2 or 3 will leave perm or loan.

Much as I really like studge and rate him as a player, I think for him and us it is best if we part ways Liverpool has moved on and the type of player we need upfront he sadly no longer can be imo.

Would he be fully fit for more than half a season?

Agreed John, his days are up here but I do see him seeing out his contract with us. I just can't see anybody coming in for him.

I say if he stays fit until December, Klopp plays League Cup and FA Cup games in tandem behind Solanke in a 4-4-1-1. Give him one more shot to give him a selection headache for the PL and CL matches, or to get some game time and let him go in Jan.

I think he does fit our style but only when fully fit. Look at the goal against West Ham towards end of 2016/ 17 season and the header against Arsenal at home last year. I think he needs to decide whether he wants to be the main man somewhere or if he is happy being a decent back up option.
