I wish more people would show the lad support, it seems to be 50/ 50 at the moment, if I was in his shoes I'd be wanting out immediately so for him to be cracking on and getting on with it deserves a lot of respect, good luck to the lad, he's going to need it with so many so called fans destroying him at every chance they get. People just aren't happy unless they're moaning. If the first 5 games we get 5 clean sheets all we'll hear is 'he hasn't been tested yet' he'll make a mistake and suddenly he'll be the worst player in our team. Then there's the personal side of things, people forget he is only human I'm sure but it's ok to abuse him you know? pathetic and it's getting old. 'Fans' really need to move on and accept the fact he'll be our number one for another season.

Come on Karius, prove them wrong lad!

Spot on Salah, let’s hope mk. Lfc8, show a bit of faith. Karius is going to become a better player for this. As for world class keepers in the premier league, I only think De Gea is world class. Courtois is close. The rest not so much.

I have said this before. Salah Mane VVD etc are not going to stick around winning nothing whilst we wait for Karius to finish his apprenticeship. I also said this before I am not against Karius because of cHamps league final. His overall performances are not good enough.

Listen, the situation is no different to Mingolet which some of you high and mighty people on this thread have all to often deemed nowhere near good enough to play for Liverpool. Maybe some of the fans that think Karius isn't good enough don't fancy waiting 2/ 3 seasons to see us in the same situation again. He was fortunate to play behind a better defence in the second half of the season, he didn't do anything to warrant the status he is given now. that's how i see it and although Klopp has come out and said something positive (havent read it), but he is hardly going to come out and publicly criticise one of his players is he? I don't think Karius is any good, nothing has changed my mind, he doesn't look commanding, confident and I cover my eyes every time the ball comes into the box. So there you go.

Agreed Rover, Karius has shown nothing to make us think he should be No.1, he was competing with Migs who we made the mistake of keeping faith with for many seasons, above all else we need a top top level keeper, there is no position in bigger need of improvement.

The CL final is only a small part of my opinion of Karius. I think we'll be making a mistake if we go into this season without, at least, some serious competition for him.

Really this place is getting ridiculous. Some fans ain't got a clue. They Love criticising players, you ain't the manager and probably most never kicked a ball. Sad reflection on the power of keyboard warriors. Bring back the day when players were supported even if making a mistake. They are human after all. I despise any fan who would attack a player be it verbal or physical. Thanks to the Eds, I enjoy your input and without yous I would avoid this circus. I remember Clemance and Grobbaler they made many a mistake, still loved and respected.
