Hi Eds, I realise that the chances of Allan getting a work permit are pretty much nil, again, but I was just wondering if he is still as highly thought of as when we signed him or when Klopp first saw him? I can't help thinking that he may be being held back by playing at St Truiden and the rest, when he could be making a real go of it at a club where he can really start a career.

It seems Liverpool would be unlikely to receive anything more than a token fee for him now so do they actually believe that a work permit is still possible for him and what would they have to do for him to get one? (I know the Grujic, Markovic etc situations won't have helped)

Cheers, Bardzo.

{Ed002's Note - I would not expect him to ever player for Liverpool and he does not meet the WP criteria and he would certainly not get a WP under any "special talent" exceptions. As far as I know he is still injured but I guess when he returns after the vacation period Liverpool would take a look. They will then probably look to another loan.}

Ok, thanks Ed. Boy should've stayed in Brazil and waited for a club from another country. Seems a shame for him if our purchasing him stifled his true progress.

Too many young lads taken away from their homes by us for no reason. Its a travesty.

Same deal with Awoniyi - another brainless bit of recruitment by LFC.

I believe Allan was in the videos of first day back at training so possibly could be pushing to be fully fit.

I do not see him making it at Liverpool but for his own personal development his next loan move needs to be very well thought out!
