I must be getting bitter in my old age but, for some reason, the sight of Sergio Ramos in tears after Spain's WC exit didn't induce the usual empathetic feelings i have when sportsmen fall below the bar.

Maybe he should have taken his own advice that he gave to salah after the champions league final. I have no sympathy for either him or spain tbh.

My cover photo on Facebook is a picture of Ramos in tears 😂 I'm not bitter, but I'd be lying if I denied being a little bit gutted that he didn't miss the decisive penalty personally. Okay, maybe I'm bitter.

It's not bitter. WHAT Ramos did required some penance.

This is the first step for me. The next still has to be losing to us in the knockouts or final of champions league with Salah bursting past his aging ass and slotting hpm3 the winner!

Ramos should have been the one to miss the penalty. Dirty cheating individual with no respect for the game or its rules. Let him cry, everyone knows those 'tears' are fake. The dude couldn't even stop mouthing his own former Real team mate Cheryshev before the latter's penalty. How low does he have to stoop everytime?

I loved it. Best moment of the game by far. Mostly for his comments after the game - the way he conducts himself as a player is bad enough but to do an interview mocking people he badly injured after is a disgrace and I very much hope to see him crying a lot more over the coming years.

When I was a kid, my dad used to say the lead singer of Showaddywaddy had a face he would not tire of punching. I feel the same way about Ramos' face.

C'mon lads, you're suffering from PFSD (Post Final Stress Disorder) and you need a mechanism to move on here.
Picture Klopp looking on with concern as Salah exits the field in tears. He decides on a bold tactical reshuffle with TAA moving up to to join the front three and Henderson being withdrawn. On comes two new young lads from the U23 set-up, Tommy Smith to RB and Graeme Souness to midfield.
Now breathe, play whale calls music and make yourself a camomile tea tonight when you're in bed because everything will be alright.
