Does anyone know what shirt number Fabinho is going to be allocated?

Seems like he has chosen 99. Club shop is selling his shirt with 99.

I think that’s more on the lines of a number hasn’t been allocated yet. I wouldn’t go getting a number 99 Fabinho shirt just yet. I seem to remember a player being refused 99 last year by the FA? Maybe Prem or Championship?

He’ll prefer 2, Clyne is the current incumbent. Perhaps just waiting until he leaves. Or perhaps he’ll take 3.

Actually, just looked into it. It was Renato Sanches, he wanted 85 but was refused.

‘But due to Premier League rules, squad numbers must be consecutive and closer to the highest current number. ’ I’m sure this isn’t always enforced though.
