World cup starting today and honestly don't care who wins. More interested in this site and all things lfc related. Just wondering if the eds are world cup fans or just club football fans? Who do we think could win it and who will be player of the tournament? Maybe it's just me, but I feel the w. c has lost its nostalgia and charm.

I'm not really fussed by it either, certainly not about England. I may watch some of the Spain, Brazil or Germany games but that's about it. I think it'll be a Spain v Brazil final. Firmino to score the winner ;) .

I am really looking forward to it. I can finally watch football without my heart in my throat like it has been the last couple of months watching Liverpool. I can just enjoy the spectacle and hopefully there’s goals and entertainment. I really hope Russia can put on a great tournament.

I will watch every game with childish enthusiasm. I love it. Disappointed the best fans in the world aren’t at it purely for the memes but truthfully I’ll just be happy if all the fans come home safely. It could be a brilliant tournament but you just never know with the Russians.

I love football. I will watch every match I can where the quality of football is half decent. It's not Liverpool, but it's a million times better than summers of no football and endless nonsense discussions about transfers.
