This is a main question for Ed02 byt I would love to hear others opinions. I can't help but feel disheartened at the fact it seems we are going for Butland due to the unlikely situation with Alisson. But surely there's a middle ground between the 2? One of my good friends works in football analytics, and I know stats do not tell a full story at all, but my mate put in some requirements (catch rate, long passing rate, dangerous shots saved etc. ) Added in the top 5 european leagues. We filtered out the unrealistic options and anyone over the age of 27. We were left with this:
Sportiello (Fiorentina)
Strakosha (Lazio)
Gulasci (Leipzig)
Perin (Genoa)

Ed01, have you seen any of these play? I'm surprised the club don't seem to be looking at othee options if I'm honest. Anyway, be good to hear others thoughts!

the Lazio goalie would be worth having a closer look at, he is decent and the right age .
