Very good read but Talisca has just joined one of the Chinese clubs for 6 months so we can rule him out. I hope we go for Fekir again but I’m not holding my breath.

I should have credited you to some extent BarryinLouth, for the original question. I was just going to cover the players we have confirmed interest in from either Macca or the eds; Draxler, Dembele, Brandt, Fekir and Fernandes.

I started adding in more names because you asked me who I thought we could go for. Most of it was my opinion on potential options aside from those 5 above.

Good read, NK. IMO, I would take Brandt cos he is everything Klopp likes in a player and he is very level-headed and has the right attitude, and desire to succeed as we have seen cos he proly one one of the reasons Leroy Sane will be watching the WC from his sofa like the rest of us. Also, he is also the closest to Fekir as he can play anywhere in the front 3 and the no. 10 as well. Will Klopp be back in for him? Will he be interested in coming to us this time? We shall see.

It may seem that way Ed002, but I'm as far away from that as you can get. I'm one of the few on here that would be satisfied if our dealings were done. I'm happy with Fabinho and Keita, and think they improve us massively.

I was merely responding to the article entitled "Nabil Fekir - Alternative Options", which clearly assumes that we're spending money on alternative options.

{Ed002's Note - I have not seen it Eric but most clubs buy players who fit rather than simply look for the wonderkids or whatever. It is critical to success to look to those who suit the needs. I assume the interest in Shaqiri is there for Liverpool to meet a particular need. Perhaps that spare XXL kit they have?}
