I think we can all agree, recently it's been absolutely mental regarding Fekir. We've seen people abusing the eds, we've seen people abusing the club mostly on social media, fans argueng because of different opinions and the worst of all, threats towards Michael Edwards. This is concerning to say the least.

I said about a week ago about how the media and these twitter know it alls about how much they hype things up so much that it get's to a point people talk like it's a done deal. It's never done until it's done and when it doesn't happen people go loopy and too far, why? because they listened to the bloody media and stupid idiots on twitter claiming to know it all. It's a potential transfer why do people have to go off the deep end? I'd understand if it was a matter of life or death but come on? It really makes me question the mentality of some people.

Sure we all wanted/ want Fekir to join but if he doesn't it's no big deal, we move on, so what? it happens and if you can't accept that I don't think you should be a football fan because this isn't the first time it's happened and it for sure won't be the last.

I think I can talk for the majority of people here when I say we all love Liverpool and football. Unfortunately too many people take things too far, people need to learn to appreciate the club more and appreciate exactly what they have done and are doing for us.

We should be appreciating the club and what they've done so far, we should be appreciating the Eds who give us valuable information and knowledge all day long, EVERY SINGLE DAY! . It's nice to be nice, it's not very difficult is it?

I see things on a daily basis, people making terrible mistakes and not valueing life like they should be doing. My point is, there's much more to life then a potential transfer, people need to wake up and see what's important in life before going on and giving grief to others for no reason.

Now this may sound funny to you all but it is far from it. I went to an address yesterday over a dispute about a bloody loaf of bread, it resulted in things you'd never begin to imagine, I won't go into that. Value your life, value the people part of it, respect those who you should be respecting, appreciate the people you should be appreciating, be kind and love our club don't hate on it with stupid comments.

People take important things in life for granted and put too much energy into little things without a thought for others. Look at Karius, he made two mistakes and it resulted in him getting death threats and people saying he should never put on the Liverpool shirt again, it's just disgusting.

I'm sure there's people who's previously been banned from this site, who may be reading this. If you are, you've been banned for a reason (probably no doubt you've given the Eds abuse at some point) think about actions before you go on one, you aren't speaking to a robot with your pathetic abuse you're speaking to a human being (well apart from Ed1, he's some sort of robot, I'm almost certain) .

It's easy for me to preach about being nice and what not but we all make mistakes there's no doubt about that but it's also easy to have some respect and think about things before we do/ say them. If you don't agree with somebody, so what? be the better person you don't have to go too far, laugh it off, you have your opinion they have theirs.

Shoutout to Ed1, Ed2, Ed25, Ed333, Ed33 and all other eds. Also to MK, Ron, Aray, Barry, benny, Harry, Walter, aoe, johncrow, hjikle, mikey, carra, brisbane, Brover and all other regulars, you're all a credit to yourselves and deserve the most respect. Keep it up :) love seeing all of your posts!

If you've got this far I thank you, I don't expect people to, I know I've rambled on a bit, or a lot :/ so I'll shut up! Have a great day to all!

Well said Salah mate! Very well said indeed! Hope to see you knock out Ramos and Spain in the WC (yes I’m still bitter)

Agree with what you have said. I like most football fans from all teams during transfer window are checking every site possible for rumours of players our teams are linked with. Those who use this site are lucky enough to have the eds giving their knowledge and insight into these rumours. It can be an exciting time when clubs are linked to a player that could take the team to another level.

Unfortunately it's also a time people's true spoilt brat nature where as soon as a player is linked to their club then in their tiny mind that player is theirs and no one else's. When there is a problem with the transfer or the rumour wasn't true (shock horror after all a rumour is gospel after all) their reactions towards people such as the eds or more respectable posters become embarrassing, their questions become repetitive and their attitudes return to that of a 2 year old throwing a paddy.

I will be honest until I read the name fekir on this site, I knew nothing of him as a player. Just what I have read from the eds and other bits I've picked up on the internet. Looks a really good player. When the rumours grew and the announcements all over the internet it looked like a good addition to the team.

As it stands it looks likely the deal is off, this could change but the only people who truly know this aren't going to make it public. The reasons behind this are likely to be known truly by a few. The eds have given their opinion, yet there are still people on here moaning it's their God given right to have this player now. Heaven forbid the reason is LFC think it's too risky due to his knee, heaven forbid if Lyon are holding out for a price they want for THEIR player and LFC don't value him the same.

If it's his knee then I would have to agree with LFC medical team, I tore my acl playing American football at 16, had surgery and physio, the 3 seasons after I had to play with a don joy goldpoint brace, 20 years later my knee is still prone to collapse. So would I risk 50million plus on fekir if there was another player available? Possibly not.

If it Lyon wanting more money, good for them, fekir is their player, the same as coutinho was ours and we held out for the money we wanted.

Long post i know, the point I'm try to make in too many words, I have adhd and asd and tend to rant sorry!
If LFC sign a player I will support them as part of my beloved team, if LFC linked to a player I will come on here and read the replies in red from the eds and be thankful for THEIR time in responding with their knowledge, I won't be throwing a paddy if we don't sign a certain player, instead will wait for for eds or LFC to announce a signing.

In short we are Liverpool, we are growing back into a team who can compete, we don't have the right to any player we want but I do believe in what is happening with our team.

Good luck eds with the repeated questions and please ignore the abuse from the ignorants, most of us respect your knowledge and appreciate your replies

Lifelongred.

Woah there Salah! These pages aren't big enough (literally) for two people writing huge essays! Back down now and I'll spare you! 😉

In all seriousness, great post.

Bravo Salah, well said. I think the reasonable fans among us and the Eds as well should really just block out and ignore any venomous comments. As with many things now in the age of social media and twatter in particular it is not real fans that spout the nasty stuff, it's usually cowardly keyboard warriors or a pathetic loser somewhere in his mum's basement, and really isn't worth bothering with. Anyone who threatens or abuses another human being because of something to do with a sport that they probably don't even play themselves is not worth one second of our time. I love that Lovren has bounced back from all the crap he went through, and I'll be happy if Karius can do the same.

Thank you very much to all. Ah I know Barry mate, you get them :) I don't tend to pay much attention to the like/ dislike thing, if I get 20 dislikes I'm not too fussed mate. I'm just happy good people like yourself can see the point I'm making. Thanks again everybody!

Great post

Personally i think the eds should just not bother replying to repeat questions or nonsense.

When you post repeat questions, you show little consideration for the poor bloke reading it over and over. Have some appreciation for others.

I find it annoying having to go through post after post of the same question never mind the edds.

IF THE EDSS WANT TO GIVE US INFO THEY WILL.

We have a great resource in the edds, do use it wisely.

I prrsonally think we will get fekir in the end.

And if we don't, I really don't give a shit.

I remember the konoplayanka window. Things have improved exponentially since then.

Have some patience people.

Those people who are giving thumbs down to these posts need to take a good long look at themselves then take the opportunity to do one to Manchester or Leeds because they are hardly Liverpool fans. The level of bile and abuse currently seen is not acceptable by decent people and I’m glad this site stands up to it - thank you Ed’s. From a concussed Karius to the scouting team, they are all trying to do the best for the club and some of us can appreciate that. The future is bright.

Let's talk about liverpool transfers instead of soul searching bollox. People are gutted the deal is off. Yes the idiots abusing liverpool are obviously not real fans. I love the club and I'm entitled to be dissapointed about missing out on our big summer signing.

Let's talk football, this is not a yoga class.

16.) 11 Jun 2018
11 Jun 2018 14:24:53
hendo why should anyone be 'gutted'? We have a pretty damn fine team and already added two classy midfielders to the squad, and there will be more additions to come. If it's not Fekir it'll be someone else and the project will continue and we will keep striving to get better and better. The team and the club are the important thing, not one player who may or may not be at Anfield next season. Personally, I'm a lot more concerned with the players we've already got coming through the World Cup unscathed and ready for the new season.

17.) 11 Jun 2018
11 Jun 2018 14:27:32
Then start a new thread mate. Nothing wrong with a nice few words every now and then.

11 Jun 2018 14:58:53
Jurgen you keep digging me dude. I love ya mate chill. Are you not disappointed about not signing fekir? I am. Gutted is just slang for disappointment.

Who do people like as an alternative¿. I rfckon iniesta would do a year in enhland, he doesn't want to play against Barcelona if he leaves, its juve, bayern or the prem. Why not liverpool?

19.) 11 Jun 2018
11 Jun 2018 15:21:30
Wouldn’t be surprised if the alternative was Fekir at a later date. Fabinho is a huge signing, as is Naby. We are in a far better position now as to when the season ended.

20.) 11 Jun 2018
11 Jun 2018 15:29:36
Thanks very much to all who have posted and who are on the same level as I am, I appreciate it :) .

BUT there is always one.

What dross you giving it Prince Hendo, who said it was a yoga class? and what's with this ' soul searching bollox' talk, what are you even talking about now? you do enjoy to speak nonsense at times don't you?

Plus why are you disappointed? the transfer window hasn't ended yet so I think you should take your own advice and 'chill'. You obviously couldn't understand the first post so I'll leave it there.

21.) 11 Jun 2018
11 Jun 2018 16:18:52
You da man, Mo! And relax with the haters. People will hit out at things they don't understand, simply because it's social media and social media allows them to do it. Not worth the annoyance, even.

And don't let MKS bully you into anything less than 1000 words each time. 😉.

22.) 11 Jun 2018

Lol.

I am entitled to feel disappointed salah, but frankly, I'm fed up of talking about how Im feeling.

This is a transfer banter page, not the rikki lake thread.

I'm not having a dig at you salah, just trying to steer the conversation toward football.

Does anyone think iniesta will move?

24.) 11 Jun 2018
11 Jun 2018 20:48:39
How am I a hater? Chill, I wasn't taking a pop at anyone.

Let's talk about it salah ;)

25.) 11 Jun 2018
11 Jun 2018 21:14:08
Also, yeah the club give us entertainment and great football but it is us who give to them. If every fan walked away from the game then they would have nothing. 70mil players would bd worth zilch. It is gate receipts and TV revenue that keeps the players in nes ferraris.

Of course the people threatening the club are idiots, I read a 5 minute long post that really said vefy lithe of substance. We don't need telling that those idiots are. Idiots. And I'm not "the one" as you put it, I see your post got quite a few thumbs down.

26.) 11 Jun 2018
11 Jun 2018 21:37:40
As I said earlier PH, I'm not bothered about thumbs down mate lol I don't post to get thumbs up, I'm not a 16 year old child looking for attention wanting as many likes as I can get. It's really no big deal to me mate lol it's a function I very rarely take notice of.

No hard feelings PH, life is too short but try and respect other people a little more it's not very difficult. The way you come across at times is so arrogant, I'm sure IRL you're not of course but on here it comes across like that and we're not just talking about today either.

ANYWAY, have a good evening!

27.) 12 Jun 2018
11 Jun 2018 23:19:28
Lol, it's my feelings and behaviour again. There are no hard feelings, I didn't personally slate any posters, you called me the one when on fact a lot of people disagreed with your statement. I dunno about disagreed as got bored. It went on a bit and said little.

Eds are brilliant, of course they are. Do you see me slagging them? I may disagree sometimes but we can't all think k the same thoughts salah. The world would be a boring place if we did.

The point of this page is football banter, I don't see anyone giving the eds tonnes of grief over the fekir deal (sorry if people did give them grief, I must of missed it, why it's the eds fault I don't know)

All I see are a few people understandably disappointed that the deal fell through, for whatever reason. More so coz it seemed so close.

I guess I'm saying, I don't see this madness that t you say in hour five minute post. Sorry salah, I was a bit more corse than I could have been. Like I say, you seem a nice lad, your enthusiasm is infectious, I like your post (although I have never seen you post something controversial, it's always the party line but hey ho) if I disagree with you that's fine, but you singled me out for ridicule, when my point was valid. Let's get back to football, we've spoken about feelings for way too long.
