Morning Ed and thank you for a good read to start my morning
Malcolm is a personal fave of mine and hope we get him
Are we getting the left wingers soon as would love to read it as well.

{Ed001's Note - yes mate, left wingers is the next one of those I will do, not sure when it will be as I am doing the Arturo Gatti article for you next.}

Love this article. Thanks Ed. You're smashing the articles currently. (Although I must admit that the Tarkowski player profile worries me! ) .

{Ed001's Note - cheers mate. The next few will be much slower in coming as they require research, rather than me just giving my opinion.}

Thanks for a good piece of morning reading, Ed. If I could choose one from the list, it would be Christian Pulisic. Brilliant talent, pacey, and seems a very down to earth person of the field as well.

{Ed001's Note - he has good advisors as well. His parents are not interested in get rich quick, they want him to make the most of his talents and constantly advise him to go that way.}

Great little article that Ed and I'm glad you have named Cengiz Under. At just 20 years old the lad looks like he's going to have a great career. I was talking to my mate about him the other week and he said he's nowhere near good enough for the premier league. I'm sure he's never seen nor heard of him before tbh he just didn't want to admit it lol I'd have the lad at Liverpool tomorrow! if he carries on like he has been some top club will snap him up I'm sure.

{Ed001's Note - he was excellent last season. Roma are trying to keep him under wraps.}

Yeah I can imagine they are mate. Thanks for the article, do you plan on doing a top 10 article for all positions?

{Ed001's Note - yes mate, I have done other ones in the past already. I am just gradually going through them and then I will go back to the start again.}

Fantastic mate, I look forward to them, as always :) Have a great day Ed!

{Ed001's Note - cheers mate take care.}

Ed you just made my day with the Gatti article on the way
I literally cannot wait for that one
Thank you so much mate.

{Ed001's Note - you are very welcome mate.}

Have to say Ed, I would've found a place in the list for Federico Chiesa. Aside from his omission in agree though. A few years ago I'd have had Antonio Candreva too. That blokes delivery is still the best in Europe, but sadly He's lost his legs.

{Ed001's Note - Chiesa was 11 mate.}

I thought this was a piece on 'right whingers'.
Dunno if I'd make the top ten, haha.

He's a good player, Chiesa. If the worst happened and Salah did leave, he'd be right at the top of my wish list!

Did you consider Riyad Mahrez or Leon Bailey? I thought about them but I couldn't see any one worth knocking out the top 10 for them.

Thanks for a very informative article Ed001. One question. No Douglas Costa? Or would you place him as a left winger (since he plays both right and left)? Thanks in advance. 👍.

{Ed001's Note - he does not do enough whenever I have seen him play.}

Hi Ed001

Just a curiosity, does the semi-enforced versatility in players to play on either wing (and often through the centre) make lists like this harder to compile because it's not always clear where to put them, or does it make it easier as most of the best 30 forwards can go into whichever pile suits them best? Thinking about players like Neymar and Mbappe who are both happy up front and out wide, and Mane who has been a RW most of his career and this season has been LW almost every game. Thanks!

{Ed001's Note - much more difficult. It makes it harder to decide who is actually a right winger to pick from in the first place.}

As always ed great read. Making the summer break bearable.
Yours and the other Ed’s efforts are appreciated.

{Ed001's Note - cheers NYR glad you enjoyed.}

Thought it might - I was surprised by a couple of names there not because they aren't among the best but just because I wouldn't have thought their primary position was RW. Glad to know it's actually a question that needs considered and I'm not just woefully behind the times with a bunch of players, thanks for answering!

Great stuff, always look forward to your articles ed. I'd have put Leon Bailey in though, he's an absolute beast imo and was arguably better than Robben this season in the Bundesliga.

{Ed001's Note - dammit I knew there was someone I was forgetting!}
