We all know Can was going but Liverpool just announced other players to be released. Jon Flanagan out, thank god. Along with Toni Gomes, Paulo Alves, Mich'el Parker, Jordan Williams, Anthony Glennon, Jordan Hunter and Harvey Whyte. Yan Dhanda to Swansea.

Don’t think the ‘thank god’ was really necessary there mate. He did his best for us, and we should perhaps be a bit more supportive maybe? Good luck to them all with their futures.

Does anyone know what happened to our young goalkeeper Andrew Firth who spent the second half of last season at Chester?

He is not shown as "released" but is not on the retained list either.

I think the 'thank God' was due to him assaulting his Mrs rather than his football skills.
