Just want to congratulate Dejan Lovren on using social media in a way that actually brings him closer to the fans rather than showing off and alienating himself.

Loving his sense of humour. His tweets about Modric capture his commitment to Liverpool.

What with him being Salah’s go-to BFF I can see Lovren ending up being a fan cult favourite.

Who would have guessed?

Lovren has improved a lot and shows commitment, I like him and he should be kept. The defence is getting better.
Matip can go though no problem!

Outside of the front 3, Lovren is my favourite current player. Think he's a gem of a guy, and a really good player when his head is straight, i just find him very endearing.

I think we will see the best of Lovren next season. VVD will be more settled in as a defensive partner. He will have a proper defensive midfielder giving better protection for the first time in his Liverpool career and he won’t have a joke of a keeper behind him.

I respect Lovs more as a man who has overcome so much in his life, than as a footballer. Theses are the types of people Klopp likes to have at the club. IMO, Lovs is a very good defender and lacks very little physical tools (if you shut down CR7 in a CL final, you are no mug) . It is what is btw his ears that is the prob (lack of concentration) and Klopp will do a lot to help him with that.

Agreed Lovern just needs to sort out his concentration and his decision making at times. He can dive in to things when there is no need and go for headers when his timing is well off but overall get these things sorted out and he can be a top CB for us.

Matip is way too chill out altogether on the ball and for a such big guy seems to have no toughness. I'd happily move him on unless he surprise me drastically next season but I doubt it.

I've seen plenty of his videos and the guy is very happy, his form for me has improved lots. Next season I hope he plays to his full potential and gets a cup for his efforts.

Just wanted to add that I am glad for lovren. He has had it very tough at personal and international level. It also affected his game. He was top class at Soto. And he is definitely getting back there. He is a fighter and smiling one at that. You need character to make big. Lovren has been immense at the backroom.
Was gutted when his personal and international career problems just wrecked him up but he has fought them through like a defender would.
If we win the league next season lovren would be a big reason for it. I just wish him all the best and all the luck.
Be the rock we need dejan.

Nice one, Akshit.

{Ed025's Note - he has certainly improved without a doubt, for me its all to do with VVD though as he needed someone to play alongside who he could rely on and be able to concentrate on his own game, good luck to the guy..
