Lol I hate the transfer window these days. It SHOULD be very simple for us fans. If your working in that field and making transfers happen for a club it may not be simple but for us as fans it should be as simple as, we wait to see who comes in but people tend to over complicate things far too much.

Who's said what, who's in the know on Social media, how much is so and so player going to cost, can we afford so and so if we pay for x player etc etc. It's all irrelevant to us, let's just see what the club does and trust them.

I think a huge problem with us brits is we are very, very impatient people, we want everything done on day one and if it's not the worriers come out to play. I advise you all to ignore everybody on facebook and twitter, it's poison in many ways. What annoys me more then anything is people read BS stories on there then come here and say their 'source' or 'sauce' for some people has said something stupid like 'Monday Fekir will be announced, 60m done deal' or 'After the final Fekir will be announced, my source told me so' where are those people now? Come out, come out wherever you are! what's your source saying now?

Everybody needs to take a step back and chillout lol we'll see what happens eventually, that is all. Other then that, I hope you're all having a great Saturday so far!

P. S. think of the Eds for a second, imagine how mind numbing it is hearing the same old questions probably every other hour of the day? Bugger that. It's far too easy for us as posters to just type in the same old BS forgetting there's an Ed there who has to read the constant same old stuff. Respect goes a long way ladies and gents, remember that.

People get hung up on certain players. If we don't sign Fekir we'll probably get someone else.

Who here would've picked Salah last summer? Nobody except Malak. Not even Klopp wanted Salah. He wanted Brandt!

I'll debate about everyone we're linked with happily, but when the season kicks off I'll support Klopp and whoever is in his 25 man squad 👍.

It’s as simple as you mate it Salah. Just chill and wait for the official website to announce the signings if you want the simple life. Does it matter if you know a few hours or days later than someone else. I think the reason you, me and the rest of us check this website repeatedly is that it excites us, but there is simpler ways of finding out.

No Tranfser window! No fun! Salah 😂😂😂, hang around to other club pages, it’s worse lol! Chelsea doesn’t even know who their new manager is, Spurs has no clue if Poch would still remain. UTD are scratching their head with Mourinho tracking Aurautovic 😂😂. Arsenal are just being arsenal. Trying to sign a DM from donkeys years. Best time of the year when you don’t have to worry about dropped points, long ball, missed penalties, top 4 😂😂. TR gives you hope that you would bring in someone new, fresh! Love it btw.
Oh and Leeds to sign Biesla! How about that 😍😍😍.

I think that's half of the problem MK mate people put all their eggs into one basket when a star player is linked to us and when it doesn't happen or shows signs of it not happening they go barmy lol we should just be open minded, things change very quickly in transfer windows. I like you, will support whoever comes in. I don't mind debate I'm with you there MK, it's when people start getting daft about it and making things up what do my head in.

Isn't this all part of why we love football though. Even in the off season our emotions are still up and down with who we could be signing or who we are missing out on. Imagine a world where once the season finishes football is not even discussed until the next season starts.

I've had this point on here every year in the transfer window for close 10 years now. I couldn't agree more.
The main thing which you have pointed out is the fascination with money. You here it all the time. Player 1 cost X and player 2 cost Y and then they compare. They forget all sorts of things like wages length of contract they were in signing on fees agent fees relevant taxes etc. My favourite of this is the "free" transfer as if there is such a thing!

As people have said what will be will be and I wish people would debate players skill sets or value to our team rather than comparing figures that are most likely meaningless and are certainly meaningless to us.

I remember old school days and people losing their heads over us wanting to sign some £10m CM from Real Sociedad that no-one had ever heard of.
🙄
Just got to have faith in the people doing the buying.

I have to admit I used to compare the price of players all the time.

I remember we played United once and rio ferdinand cost more than 8 of our outfield players put together. Can't remember the year.

Yes United won and yes they had the most expensive team in the premiership and yes they won the most trophies.

Kind of went hand in hand.

City are doing the same now it seems.

I genuinely gave up on prices when we signed vvd. 75m for a defender.
It just did not make sense. Well it does now.

I came to the conclusion that actually the price was irrelevant. The only thing that matters is does the player fit into what we are trying to achieve. It does not really matter if he is a world beater as we can turn him into the player we want.

As long as he does the job and has the right passion that's what matters.

With the fees the way they are, it's time to get smart with out transfers and get the right fit no matter how long it takes. Ie vvd

If it don't fit, don't bother going for plan c or d.

The frustration of not getting a player is no where near as matched as the frustration of getting the wrong player. Once you made the wrong signing, you in it for the long haul ie ballotelli or
as in benteke case you cash in. But the still used up valuable squad time that was no good to Liverpool.

Let's not go back to those days is what I want out of this transfer window.

Once again thanks to the edds for their patience.

Salah, my friend, you've got it all wrong. The transfer window is as important as Global Thermonuclear War! Almost. 😁.
