Absolutely!

So strange we had a over achieved season with a small squad (in terms or quality)

We still need a keeper center half (I'd say one will leave) a attacking player maybe 2 for cover


So much room to improve hard to do this with out upsetting the balance and having a season of transition.

I think upon reflection, karius errors aside, the difference between the two teams was strength in depth. Winning the final with Wijnaldum in midfield was always going to be a tough ask, 3 of our best midfielders were injured and Milner and Henderson went well above and beyond the call of duty. Do not forget we sold our best player in January too. Quite remarkable we even made it there to be honest. Fabinho seems a fantastic signing and may it be the first of many.

I think Fekir is a must for us, he looks top drawer and would give us a lot of attributes we currently lack. Some form of new goalkeeper is also a must, hopefully bobby can work his magic and convince Alisson to come.

Aside from that we are then looking at somewhat luxury signings but still needed nonetheless. I think we will see a move for one of Mee, Tarkowski or Lascelles on the cheap to replace Matip. I think Dembele on loan also makes a lot of sense as it keeps us within financial fair play regulations while also signinficantly strengthening the squad, he was never played to his strengths at Barcelona but will be at Liverpool.

I highly doubt we will see a centre back arrive this summer. But I do think one of Matip or Klavan will leave. We have Gomez who can cover both RB and CB. We also have Arnold and now Fabinho who can play RB too.

Fekir would be great but with him saying he will wait till after World Cup I doubt w will wait around that long and look elsewhere to be honest. Imagine we waited and he chose somewhere else to sign for or even stay with Lyon.

We need players with the determination of those like carra and Gerrard. Hendo, milner and Robertson often show gut busting determination. Bobby of course. We need more players who will run through walls.

I'm dead chuffed about our two quality additions to our midfield. We still need calm passing ability in there though. Against Madrid we really struggled to keep the ball at times.

Our midfield has been overhauled already. Keita, fabinho and the ox once fit is in my eyes is a great midfield. They've got energy and tanacity. The future is rosey and if fikir arrives we've got options which probably was our undoing.

Lascelles over Tarkowski all day long. Tarkowski is lumpen and one paced. Championship player at best. Plus he’s United supporter so he can do one.
