Hey Eds and reds still getting over the disappointment of Saturday still . I remember one of the eds suggesting Liverpool will look to conclude their business prior to the World Cup or as much as possible . My question is does this include outgoing players also or will we end up with a situation like last few years where they go out very late just to to get rid for the season or small fee.

Keep up the good work eds . Ignore the haters they live in a different footballing world to most of us

Cheers

Dhfc.

{Ed001's Note - it is a different situation than the usual with other transfer windows being open longer. Outgoings will be able to go out well after we are unable to bring in new players.}

Just hope Madrid won't try and poach salah on a last minute. Doubt he'd wanna play with ramos after what he done to him. Maybe a blessing in disguise.

I'm not sure Ramos would weigh heavily on his decision. This is professional sport. It's about winning, wages and glory mostly. If you can play somewhere where all three are more likely than where you play presently then it's highly likely 'you' go. There's only a few cases were sentimentality might come into play but even so, you can be sure the wages are of warm comfort too.

It's difficult to see why the FA would put English teams at such a disadvantage vis-a-vis European teams. With outgoings only open, after a time, the pressure would all be on the English teams to dispose of players they can't keep. And everybody knows you never get the price you're asking for when the buyer knows you're under pressure to sell.

{Ed002's Note - it is nothing to do with Tge F.}

Could be a damgaging window for the club if we bring all our targets in early and get low balled on prices later in the window when we just want rid of the player . I suppose the club will have calculated all this though .

The base is their a few more additions and can see very good things from this team

Cheers ed.

{Ed001's Note - it is a risk the Premier League has brought on itself by stupidly voting for a shorter window. No one to blame but themselves.}

I agree teams abroad will wait it out and look to get a better price for players English teams are trying to move on.
