Agree to a point Ed. but they way Ramos lays on the hard ones, then falls to the floor like he’s shot when someone comes near him (faking Manes foul to get him a yellow card) means he’s not a hard man in my eyes. he’s all about deceiving the ref and putting in cheap shots.

Possibly retrospective action in Europe like in our domestic league? Probably unenforceable due to UEFA being so corrupt IMO. I mean just look how they deal with racism.

{Ed001's Note - just to point out the difference between a hard man like Souness and Case and a thuggish coward like Ramos is play acting. Souness and Case would never have feigned injury to get an opponent sent off, they would never have admitted to being hurt and if they got kicked they kicked back harder. Ramos gets a breath of wind from an opponent and he is one the floor crying in agony until he gets a free kick. I have no problem with him giving it out if he wasn't such a cheat when it is the other way round.}

Thing is Ed025, as Ed001 pointed out, you’d never see the likes of Souness, Smith, Bremner, Harris feign injury to get an opponent sent off. They were double hard b*stards, but they weren’t snide and cowardly like Pepe or Ramos.
