Its not going to be easy to sell Sturridge. His injury problems plus he's 29 now. How many years left on his contract?

{Ed002's Note - One year.}

I think he should be allowed a free transfer if he wants.

He'll stay here until his contract runs out imo and his presence could help some of the younger ones. Nobody will be stupid enough to go and buy him, if they do by all means please go ahead but who realistically would want to risk paying for him? He's got nothing to offer now, unfortunately.

I love Sturridge, it's such a shame how his career went down the pan, injuries buggered him big time.

Nope. If we can offload him on a free and save ourselves £400,000 a month, I don't care how good he'd be to have around the youngsters.
We'll be paying him to literally sit on the bench and occasionally get injured jumping out of the bath.
Love the player he used to be, and really like him as a man, but pass thanks!

Was it not Rogers who stated they had sent Sturridge to ever muscle expert and they could not find a thing wrong with him?

I can not believe players like him and Caroal (west ham) are always injured!
With sturridge, I think it is more about superstition and having the right frame of mind.

Maybe one of ED01 or ED02 could share their insight on Sturidge.
Would love to know.

{Ed001's Note - it is partly mental but more a cumulation of injuries causing him to struggle to run naturally which then causes pain.}

Can I share my insight on Studge? Nice bloke but (as I think an Ed said before) the bloke is made of crisps 🤣

I wish him well but I think now the time for him to lewf.
