Atletico haven't finalized anything, so Oblak's RC should still be at €100m (£87m) as last reported. Alisson reportedly at £60m. Should Oblak not be first choice at this point? Especially regarding experience.

I try not to pay attention to release clauses or money, it just depresses me 😄

We should target the best players available, keep it simple like that. If someone is not available then walk away and move on 👍.

Let's get butland Ali and wilshire. At least with these guys there's plenty of Premiership experience. Also give us options for formations against different teams.

Wilshere, Walter, why mate?

{Ed001's Note - because that would be a great reason to be negative about Liverpool's future hopes if we had dross like that in the team....}

With suggestions like that you should change your name to Lunatic Walter! Only joking mate but those guys ain’t going to improve us and take us to the next level. Let’s stick with Allison, Fekir and Ceballos!

Butland, Ali and Wilshere? We want to compete in the champions league, not the championship.

Just my opinion but all when fully fit could add something to our team. I am a fan of all 3 it's a shame injurys have had a negative affect on wilshire and butlands standards but both have started to get over these problems and would do wonders for us.
I point to the ox hardly anyone gave him a chance when he came. Maybe just maybe klopp could get the best out of these guys too.

{Ed001's Note - injuries never had a negative effect on Wilshere's career, people only rate him when he is out injured. When he actually plays they soon realise he is crap. If you actually watched Arsenal this season on a repeated basis, you would have seen just how poor Wilshere was. Nothing like Ox, Ox was a good player, but no one thought he was the right player. Wilshere is not a good player, who is injury prone, a nasty little dick off the field, drinks like an old school footballer, smokes heavily and trains poorly because he is usually nursing a hangover.}

Good point Ed1.

Sorry Walter but if you want the club to move forward, bringing in players like him would only send us backwards, he's one of the last players I'd want to sign, he has no passion for it, he never did. His lifestyle proves this, he's never had that drive a footballer should have. I can't add more to what Ed1 has said but a big no from me, he's useless.

A few years ago so many people was saying how he would be the next top English player. I never once understood where people was coming from because he's absolutely terrible and always has been.

Walter I've always liked you because you make me laugh. I'm not trying to call you out here mate I just want you to try and explain what he'd actually bring to the team? because from my end, he brings nothing mate.

{Ed001's Note - I never even mentioned his terrible touch which leads to his 'dribbling' consisting of chasing the ball and stretching to control it, which is one of the main causes of his injury problems. Keeping the ball closer would mean that he would not be hit while stretching and so more vulnerable to injuries. It is one of the reasons why old school dribblers were more durable. They had to have the ball right on their toe on the poor quality pitches of the day, so they were not reaching for it when they were hit by a challenge.}

Also, why would spurs sell us one of their main men? It’s like us selling them Mane. would never happen.

I know what you mean Ed. My problem is, anybody who has actually watched him play can see this? surely? I've had so many discussions about him with other people and so many of them back HIM up, I just don't get it. It actually winds me up to be honest and I'm sure some of my close friends know it. Maybe they back him up on purpose to do my head in, I don't know. It works though lol.

{Ed001's Note - I do not get it mate. If he wasn't English I doubt anyone would back him.}

ED01 GREAT REPLY TO Salahs post above, which also have very good points.
I never realised the obvious about Wilshires poor first touch, when I am looking on YouTube now, I can see what you mean.
He has never had that "kill the ball dead" touch.
Thanks again for your reply.

{Ed001's Note - thank you mate, it is one of my bug bears with him, how he is always at full stretch, when it should be tight to him.}

This season I've not watched as much football as i normally would. I've watched arsenal and I didn't see Wiltshire do too bad when I watched. Admittedly as all players his touch let's him Down from time to time.
I would say Ali was not as good as the previous season but can still be great on his day, same with butland.
