I've been reading for a long time, never posted before, but I've got to start with a confession.

I am the rarest of breeds, a Mancunian LFC fanatic. Growing up in inner city Manchester as a ginger Liverpool fan taught me three things - diplomacy, that diplomacy doesn't work with scallies and how to look after myself!

I was hoping to head over to Merseyside to watch the match tomorrow, but hotels are impossible, so just in case there's any other Redmen stranded up this end of the East Lancs Rd, where are you watching the game?

I was confident before, had a bit of the fear setting in the last few days, but one thing is for sure - our current side are capable of beating any team in world football. We have proved time and again that if teams go toe to toe with us we will destroy them, however this is the sternest test of that theory.

Win or lose, this Champions League campaign has given me extra cause to wear my Liverpool shirt with pride around Manchester city centre. One more win and I get to win every single argument it causes instantly.
Good luck staying calm everyone.
YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE.

Sports bar halfway down Ducie Street, round corner from Piccadilly station, always been ok for us when we’ve been over there on matchday. Never had any agro. Cheers.
