Have been reading a lot of articles stating things such as " one or maybe two Liverpool players could get in to Madrid's team" and combined XI's that contain the Real Madrid team plus Salah and it got my thinking. Would I swap any Real Madrid players for Liverpool players. Not a chance!

Would I swap Navas for Karius - No thank you!

Would I swap Van Dijk for Ramos/ Varane - Not a chance

Would I swap Firmino for Benzema - id rather we resigned Voronin than that!

I love it when we are underestimated or written off! it's what we thrive on. Can't wait for Kick off! YNWA.

I would take Kroos, Kovacic, Ceballos, Asensio, Isco or Modric. Not all of them. Just one to play alongside Hendo and Keita. Preferably Asensio!

Ronaldo and Ramos would get in our team but I wouldn't WANT them in our team!

I'd take varane, he may be overrated but still probably better than lovren. Carvajal would be fine if we are after a right back. Happily take modric too. Can't really argue too much about the best combination is deals Madrid with Bobby and Salah - maybe you don't like navas, but there isn't a huge gulf between him and Karius. I'm sure Liverpool fans would argue VVD over varane but I'm sure Madrid fans would argue oppositely.

Firmane I rate Varane but he smacks of ‘had the world at my feet and foot cane off the pedal’ he’s won almost everything, still relatively young but when he first come on the seen I thought he’d be someone to revolutionise the role, he’s been good but never quite lived up to what he showed in his early days, in my opinion anyway.

Definitely:
Carvajal - we're looking for a RB and he's solid enough
Modric - might be getting old but rotate him and he'll be a beaut in our midfield
Asensio - potential Balon D'or winner

Maybe:
Varane - a bit injury-prone and hasn't really kicked on since breaking into the Real first team
Ronaldo - age goes against him and I'd rather not disrupt our front three. Would be funny to see Mancs go nuts over him joining us though.
Ceballos - hasn't really played for Real so wasted year of development. But we're interested in him and I trust our scouting team and Klopp who've actually done alright with recruitment recently.
