Plenty of pundits and so-called experts pointing to Madrid's experience in CL finals as a reason they will win. It means nothing on the day and may even count against them if they go ahead and complacency seeps in. We won in Istanbul without CL final experience, we lost a few years later despite fielding players who had experience a CL final.
Im convinced that age/ experience may even go against them if we get to extra time and their over-30s start suffering fatigue.
Our CL finals that we have won have all been Reds beating Whites so hopefully this trend continues.
Im babbling now, im nervous as hell, c'mon THE REDS!

I rekon the immediate history of their success can be helpful for them. It's just means they have been there and can be prepared for the emotions etc. Nothing to say we can't upset that balance.

They do sound complacent with some of the comments coming out of Madrid. I hope they are because one things for sure, if they go into this game thinking they can stroll about flicking their hair and give the people a globetrotter type show they will leave with their heads firmly shoved straight up their backsides and we’ll leave with the trophy!

I am sure if we were going into this final against a supposed lesser side, then much of the same sentiment would be coming out of anfie. it's just the lay of the land. bring it on I say. anything that fuels us as the hungry underdog is great for us!
