Been reading and listening to so called experts and pundits saying we have no chance, listened to that bloke from real Madrid saying none if our team would make their starting 11. Don't get me wrong I'm glad we are the under dogs, I'm not saying we have better players than them, but I'm surprised these comments from Spain and the experts are making it so one sided.
I'm not a fan if most stats but I'm a fan of stats that are important, most of the comments are in regards to 2 players Ronaldo and Salah. Both amazing players, both important to each team.
But it's not about 2 players it's about 22 on the pitch.

Real Madrid are set up to feed Ronaldo and his ego, he has 15 goals and 2 assists this year champions league. Benzema has 4 goals, bale has 1. They don't have 1 player in the top 5 places for assists.

Liverpool are set up as a team to feed the team to score, not one player like real Madrid.
Salah has 10 goals 4 assists, firmino 10 goals 8 assists and mane 9 goals 2 assists and let's not forget all Time champions league assists in one campaign leader James Milner with 9 assists.

So Liverpool the underdog, the team with players not good enough for real Madrid have 3 players in the top 5 goal scorers and the top 2 in the assists.

On Saturday these stats won't matter, but what they show will make a huge difference, they prove we have a team that when they play well they play as a unit, they fight for the team, they attack as a team and defend as a team. We have as good a chance of lifting that trophy as real Madrid do, and if they go into the game thinking our players aren't good enough for them, or if they think. by stopping Salah it will stop Liverpool they're going to be in a big shock.

Can not wait for saturday.

Just want to point out that 4 of Ronaldo's 15 goals were penalties. Without penalties, he would be just ahead of Salah's and Firmino's 10 and Mane's 9 (none of them took a penalty) .

It's not as if he is far more clinical or doing way better than our front 3.

Wasn't sure how many pens he'd scored so didn't put it in, but what I did find was that Ronaldo has played nearly 200 minutes more each of our front 3. Still an amazing player, just wanted to point out that Liverpool don't have just 1 amazing player our front 3 combined seem a natural attack together. The fact they have 29 goals and 14 assists between them is amazing.
Should be an awesome game.
Not sure what I said wrong to get things down going to assume we got some green eyed fans.
