Karius have 10 clean sheets from 19 matches this season. This gets him to 7th position in the EPL for most cs! Something he achives playing half of the games. De Gea has 18 and if Karius played tge full season are I going to be over reacting in thinking he could of beat De Gea? Definetly Karius improved from last season and our defence overall did! I am more than happy to keep Karius as first choice next season and to be honest I want that to happend!

Last season he wasn't given much of a chance and had just come back from a broken hand injury, this season he came in when we needed somebody to perform the most and he stepped up, he showed us how capable he is. I still see people saying we should drop him, I'd understand that if we got Allison in or somebody of that calibre but until then he deserves to be our number 1, I do rate him and given more time I see him just improving and improving.

I wouldn't say more than happy but that I will understand if a CB and CDM are prioritized over a GK next season.

I would prefer we show faith in Karius than get Butland as has been suggested. However if there is anything in the Donnarumma (spelling) rumours I think that would be great. A keeper that actually catches the ball! Amazing! I know people say he has attitude issues but then same was said about Mane and he’s been fine.

The only keeper with a better games to clean sheet ratio than Karius this season in Europes top 5 leagues is Oblak. He is a good keeper and we now have a good defense. Not the best, but good.

Great point hjike. I must say the butland doesn't seem enough of an improvement. I always back our new signings, not to mention current players but jb? I'm not convinced. I mean Everton will have a better keeper than us, can you truly say that now, with karius.

It must be that hjike or klopp plans to rotate the keepers, he has done that in the last two years. Not saying I agree with it. Thing is, I can't see Jack coming to play no2 at this stage of his career. I think Karius has as much potential as Jack if not more. I could see Jack being another calamity jack.
