I think the best way for us in the final would be classic Klopp LFC way go all out press in first 20-25 minutes, get 2 goals or better 3 and then defend for your life and counter attack. However would Madrid be expecting it? Zidane is your average coach and i don't think he has a clue but he might expect us to go flying of the blocks and madrid may park it for 20-25 minutes. So should we play a bluff and start cautious and and then fly out by say minute 30? might catch them totally off.
Anyways, I don't want a 70-75 minute 1-1 or 2-2 because then its panic time for us. we will surely crumble in those scenarios i think because of the magnitude of the game.
May be if it goes to penalties it will work in our favour? Milner, Hendo, Trent, bobby and Salah.
Although if it does goes to penalties wonder if we would have Migs in goal (only if it goes to pens), he has saved quite a few has better reach. he is good on penalty duties i feel.

Also midfield i think milner hendo gini select themselves. So our final starting lineup is pretty much known to everyone out there or would klopp spring up a surprise or two, would take balls but if it works he would be at the pinnacle of media adulations.

God please let's skip thursday and bloody friday. i haven't used my brain this much since class II.

Nah, Klopp in Europe is more cautious as we saw in the City and Roma games. For the first 20 minutes or so, we're going to defend a bit deeper and not commit as many men forward but once we build up some momentum in the 20 minutes before half-time, we can easily score 2 or 3 goals then. Second half will be when we defend for dear life and try to hit them on the counter.

I reckon the first 30mins will be pretty even, just like Man City and then once we’ve got a feel for the game we’ll see a few chances open up. If we score I think we’ll score more as Klopp won’t hold back. if they score however I think they may control the game and hit us on the break.

If they have get lead and start to sit deep for the last 30mins I hope we go 4-2-3-1. Put on Solanke and play Firmino at 10 like we did vs Brighton.

That first half is when we must blow them away. Has to be a repeat of the City and Roma first leg matches.

The longer the game is played "cautiously" the more it will play into their hands.

This has to be a blitzkrieg.

Red67, and if we can't blitzkreig them within the first 30 mins or the whole first half, what do you propose we do? Go all guns blazing and then get caught out at the back? Sorry BUT that is not how you play a final esp. as the underdog. You stay in the game for as long as you can and when your oppo comes, you TEAR right into it. Until that happens, you keep it tight, and look for openings until you find them. This final will not be settled in 30 mins or anything like that cos like it or not, they are terrified of us as well so they will not just throw caution to the wind either. It's that simple.
