Ed’s how much do current players know about in coming signings cus I could imagine it is unsettling they are only human and any man/ woman would fear for their job knowning there is a new recruit on the way!

If they see the gossip doing the rounds do the confront the manager or who ever it maybe? Because there’s no smoke without fire?

Eds, a question if I may.
I know players influence transfers, but to what extent. E. g, It was rumoured that Gerrard convinced Brendan to sign Lambert.
Just looking at a case like Barcelona. Messi is good friends with Suarez. Barcelona wants Griezmann to replace Suarez. How much can Messi do to stop Barcelona from letting Suarez leave?
