I'm not going anywhere mate, just because the squad will be improved doesn't mean the best are going to leave.

Every other big team in Europe has 2 players for most positions. Maybe the owners and manager understand that Liverpool needs the same. It's good to have competition to stop complacency and also gives us an opportunity to rest players when need be.

Means we will have cover for the front 3.
Desperately needed in my eyes.
Imagine we are 3-0 up after 70 mins, the players are knackered, right now we are bringing on Klavan and hoping for the best, we usually sit back and invite pressure and concede a few goals, this also has the added effect of further in the season opposing teams will always have the belief they can knick a few goals or a draw from us as well, and they often do.
Having an option like dembele on the bench means we can take off Salah or mane for example and bring on a well rested attacker who will frighten the oppositions tiring defence thinking they will concede even more, fearing a blood bath, that means it will be them with backs against the wall rather than us and will make us much less likely to mess up results at the end of games and make us seem unbeatable and nobody will dare think they can get a result against us.
Then we win the league 👍😁.

Is it only with this club that people can't see beyond the first 11? Stop thinking like a small club and start thinking like a club that wants to challenge on multiple fronts. That's what our manager is doing, get on board and stop worrying about where they will all fit in. The season is long, rotation is inevitable, accept it. Hell, enjoy it even.

If we buy quality it improves all players, who's to say that Fekir or Dembelle won't end up as starting 11 if they perform better than current front 3. Competition for places is better than a first 11 who know they start week in week out.

FFS, people want depth and then when we show interest in a quality player they get all negative an paranoid.

Man City manage to keep happy - Aguero, Sane, Jesus, Sterling, Bernardo Silva, de bruyne, fernandinho, gundogan, david silva.

the arrival of dembele would be perfect timing to ensure mane, salah and bobby don't rest on their laurels. at present they are in zero danger of being dropped.

87red City play a different system and of the players you mentioned there’s probably three different categories to put those players in. Aguero has been displaced a bit with de Jesus. Silva has had personal issues with his kid so it hasn’t been a problem if he’s out of the team, Sane and de Bruyne have been undroppable. Sterling has had a lot of games and has had a great season and Bernardo Silva probably came in knowing he would be a bench player with regular appearances.
From Liverpool’s point of view though we don’t have the money to keep our front three and players like Fekir and Dembele on the books at the same time. One of the two or a similar type would be a great signing to add depth. Personally wouldn’t want Dembele because of the way he left Dortmund, we seem to have a settled dressing room and we don’t want to risk upsetting that which is my worry with Keita at the minute. Fekir would be a great signing fingers crossed.

Not sure about the Dembele bit cos Barcelona may be open to offers BUT they would like to recoup close to the 90m plus they paid for him. Fekir? I hope we get cos he is a definitely upgrade on Cou even tho, Cou was brilliant for us overall. Not a fan of Tarkowski BUT if Klopp wants him here, I'll defer to him.

I trust the club on who they want all of Mane, Robertson, Salah, and Chamberlain were met with skepticism but were happy with all of them now. Klopp has known Dembélé for a long time and if he sees something I trust what he sees.

I do agree I, hope both and not one are on the cards. The front three have worked tirelessly this season and if one got injured or looses form we need cover. We also needed to replace Coutinho and Fekir is a good replacement as we all agree, but another player who can cover left and across attack I think is necessary for next season. Dembele fits that criteria Pulisici or Brandt are two, others that would work, but looks like Klopp favours Dembele.

Ceballos is another I’d be happy with and given what we know already talks have happened the player is eager to join and Real want to sell. I can see Ceballos being our first signing in all honesty. We also don’t have Chamberlain until December.
