OK, how about we sign Buffon, yaya and iniesta?

iniesta- still the best
yaya- as long as we have a good cake baker in the house.

only wages and sign on to give, but very short term solution. but may be they help us win the league next season.

Between them they’d probably want close to £1 million per week on a two year contract each. That’s £104 million on 3 players over 33 two of which have never played in the Premier League and the other one only started a handful of games this season and wasn’t good enough for the team we are trying to catch.

Iniesta and buffon will work for any team on the planet. Yaya is a mood player. probs has one final title campaign in him.
totally agree with the fact that these are very short term signings. and i was just asking if they win us the league is it worth it?

I’d resign El Hadji Diouf if it guaranteed us winning the title. However there are no guarantees in football and signing the 3 players you mentioned would be a huge risk on players well past their best who are only going to decline.
