Someone posted about superstitions yesterday, well I don't have any as such but I've watched each match of this competition with my 8 year old son.
I've kept him back from his mums for a day, I've let him stay up way too late but not only can I not risk watching the final without him, seeing the range of emotions and the jubilation on his face means watching it with him means more to me than watching it anywhere else, or with anyone else.
Win or lose the final, thank you LFC for the joy you've given my son, and for the father son memories you've created.

My son watched the first half with me before his mum took him to bed at half time. Given the difference between half time and full time scores needless to say that won’t happen again!

Cheers.

4.45am with me and my two boys 10 &12 downunder. I always remember European nights watching on ITV from 34 years ago as a young teen. Memories never leave you.
God, Liverpool are a great club, you just can’t explain properly to my Aussie work colleagues.

JTRed mate, with you all the way. The wife finally gave in around the quarters and allowed my 8 year old to stay up and watch. in a very specific spot on the couch. He's been the lucky charm :)
