Irrespective of what tonights result is, whether Roma stage one of the greatest comebacks in Champions League history, or whether Liverpool gothrough to their 21st European competition final, we should just enjoy the ride. These things never last forever, so we should not take them for granted and just enjoy the big games we've been having, the football we're playing and the footballers we get to watch week in week out!

Oh behave! We need to win to show something for the effort put in otherwise it's futile.

Nope, OP. That is a defeatist attitude that you should never consider. We have a THREE goal lead and if we screw it up, it will be the worst bottle job in our history, IMO. Barcelona bottled it BUT we are not them and I don't care what they did or in this case, did not do. Take inspiration from Klopp's words: "We have to write our own history". Use that as inspiration to stare down Roma and not blink. Our boys, manager and fans have worked too hard and for too long, to finish at the last hurdle b4 the final. I know you have nerves BUT if you let them take over your reasoning then that was your choice. I propose you don't make that choice.

I really don't get the "we should enjoy the ride" or "no-one though we could go this far".
Maybe no-one did. I certainly didn't. But it doesn't negate the fact that we're 5-2 up and shouldn't lose the tie.
If we don't go through, I'll be massively disappointed that we threw the opportunity away.
However, I know we'll go through, so I'm not worried in the least.

I agree Marshy. This club should be about winning trophies. We should easily get thru with a 3 goal lead and i will be gutted if we dont.

I don't see how it's a defeatist attitude. It wasn't that long ago we nearly went ceased to exist as a club, so I'm just going to enjoy what we're doing at the moment and if we fail, I just hope we learn from it and improve next year.
