I said it last week and I’ll say it this week, we would have much preferred to play Bayern. Their way of playing suits us a lot more, Madrid are a more pragmatic version of us, better defensively as well. They get the rub of the green all the time as well so we’ll have our backs against the wall against them. I know there’s some that fancy us against them in the final but look who they’ve had to get through and this is their 3rd final in a row, and klopps record in finals has been very poor. I’m not trying to be negative I’m trying to be logical, we would have definitely preferred Bayern and I think today showed that. They aren’t very clinical at all, have an even more aging squad of players, and have a very slow defence, we wouldn’t blitz then but we would definitely outscore them, Madrid? I’m not so sure.

I think you're giving Madrid a bit too much respect there mate. Defensively they are very suspect, I saw Marcelo up at CF numerous times in the game tonight. I think Madrid will suit us well personally, both their full backs will push up high and leave gaps for Salah and Mane to run into. As good as Ronaldo is, he won't press or track back as much as say Bobby for example. Of course they have very good players - Ronaldo, Modric, Isco even Ramos can be a rock at the back for them but Bayern were unlucky not to reach the final IMO. Also, some of the refereeing decisions that Madrid have got given during this run in have been scandalous, again, Bayern should have had a penalty tonight for handball. I would fancy our chances against Madrid for sure after tonight.

Don’t agree at all. I’m glad it won’t be us facing Bayern as Bayern could have won by 8 tonight but they seemed to have no luck, however did demonstrate a huge amount of sportsmanship - knocking the ball out of play when yet another Real player was rolling around th pitch looking for an Oscar.

Real were awful and gifted the win by a terrible goalkeeping error. My concern with Real is they will cheat us out of a win in the final, they really do spend most of their time playing up to the ref to waste time and get players booked. I hope they up their game in the final but I can see some controversial incidents costing us, I just hope not enough to change the outcome.

If you're saying that Real Madrid is the favorite (against either Roma or LFC), then not too many people will disagree with you. But then so was that great AC Milan team in Istanbul. It's like Klopp always says. "It's football. Anything can happen".

If we get there, I'm pleased it's real. They were wide open at times tonight and sadio and mo will have an absolute field day against the fullbacks. Madrids luck can't last forever in this competition. Also Bobby will have Ramos chasing shadows. If we get there I'm confident.

No favourites at this stage imo, it goes on who is better on the day. RM have a great history of winning in the CL, but so do we and I've not seen an attack like ours for years not to mention a proper team, a unit, not just relying on one player, we can be far more dangerous then they can be and we'll cause upset.

I said it weeks ago, we'll win the whole competition and I stand by it. The lads are all happy, they're motivated, we'll knock Roma out tomorrow followed by RM. People underestimate us so much, Real Madrid probably will and will come unstuck. I don't think many realise how good we are or how good we can be, we have weaknesses sure but so does every team.
