Hey Ed’s, a fair bit of talk about a possible Lallana move. Good player but where would you see him going if Liverpool don’t manage to keep him? Thanks :)

{Ed001's Note - I have absolutely no idea to be honest.}

Maybe back to Southampton if they stay up.

Marquee signing for Bournemouth maybe. He did not leave Saints on the best terms so that's a no go.

Cheers Ed, appreciate the reply.

{Ed001's Note - sorry I couldn't help, only Spurs was where he wanted to go and who were interested but that interest has waned due to this season's injury problems.}

Indian Buzzer, please no.

As someone who grew up in Bournemouth and massively admires what they have achieved over recent years, an injury prone highly paid 30 year old is not what is needed. They have a defence almost as old as Everton's, and too many other players getting past their peak - Defoe being a very well remunerated one. Without some inspired summer signings next season is going to be v. difficult for a club of that size.

Bournemouth have already done well out of Lallana - they lost him to Southampton aged 11 or something on the basis they got 25% of any future transfer fee. They got that big time when he joined Liverpool.

I fear we may have another Sturridge (not a Jack Rodwell) on our hands - one of the Ed's said Spurs' interest has waned, so who would want to take the risk given what he would want in wages - West Ham, Leicester (if Mahrez goes) or Crystal Palace? Any views on other Prem teams?

Let's hope he can get over his injury problems so he can either accept a role as a more than useful backup here or end his career on a high elsewhere.

YNWAed.
