if Spurs win their game in hand, they go above us, and Chelsea are coming on strong now at the wrong time,
we ha better get something from the Chelsea game and win our last game at home to Brighton .
{Ed0333's Note - I’m sure we had to win the last game of the season last season to get into the champions league this season? I was there and I can’t remember who we played. I know Gini, Couts and Banana scored but I can’t for the life of me remember who we played. Damn old age. Anyway the point is it would be no fun if our football team made it easy on us supporters. Why would they wrap up top 4 with a few games to go so we can relax knowing we’ve qualified and put all our efforts into the champions league oh no that would be wayyyyy too friggin easy.

I hope we are not trying to spread the love by finishing outside the top 4 to allow Chelsea to qualify for CL, given that we're planning to win the CL and qualify through that route. Well Chelsea could finish 4th ahead of us and still not qualify if we and Arsenal win in Europe.

You are correct ed it was boro at Anfield we beat them 3-0. I confused it with the week before when smashed West ham 4-0 to basically secure top 4.

Ed’s 001 banged my ears over it because we went in the new main stand and went all prawn sandwich brigade. He was just jealous because I got out of the house and he hasn’t.... EVER!

Hold on, get something off Chelsea AND win against Brighton? Mate if we do either of those things then we are home and dry - a point against Chelsea or a 1 goal win against Brighton means that in their two remaining games, Chelsea will be trying to make up 17 goals on goal difference. I know Huddersfield and Newcastle aren't the best teams in the business, but I think 9-0 two games in a row isn't a realistic concern!

ye definitely at anfield. can remember the tension in the stadium lifting when gini scored. I think we are going to be fine. we just need to get through this period one step at a time and as best as we can.
