I find it crazy how MK has so many dislikes on his post about Ed2 because I couldn't agree more with every single word he wrote. I thought we was a close knit community here? we can all agree and we can all disagree that's life but the majority of us are here purely because of the love we have for Liverpool. Ed2 clearly isn't a Liverpool fan but he/ she is probably more of a fan then some so called fans that come on here at times. I actually don't think he means any disrespect half of the time, he just says things how they are, something we should appreciate?
I made a post a few weeks ago, thanking the eds for what they do for us daily, it had great feedback and I was so pleased that so many of you shared what I was talking about. Then we have this? isn't life too short for that kind of BS? I really find all of this so petty, it's pathetic to be quite honest, I mean I don't have a database on how old you all are but the majority of you who visit regulary sound like great people and adults. Why does it have to go so far? we're on an internet forum, all sharing the same interests (Liverpool) it should never get out of hand but by the sounds of things, it does alot.

Ed2 gets abuse a lot, he's not just a robot typing on here, he's a person, a human being who also has feelings like you and I, yet it's ok to abuse him day in day out? why, because he tells us the truth? because he goes out of his way to give us info we wouldn't find anywhere else? because he's doing all of this for free? It just makes no sense giving him sh*t.
I've been through all kinds of stuff throughout my life, I've had my life turned upside down numerous times, partly from my own doing and also from other peoples actions. I am finally in a great position in life where I can say I'm happy and I know things could be so much worse then they are now which lead me to appreciate the things I have, more then ever.

I don't want to talk about me, my point is this site is our little getaway kind of thing, where we find out secret info before anybody else, where we discuss our club, where we debate our club/ football and Ed2 brings so much here it's unreal, yet he gets disrespected like he has done? I find it absurd, I really do.

I think Ed2 is a strong person, by the sound of things he will take things lightly and think 'bugger them then' but we have to also think of the what if's, what if he only comes across as a strong person yet isn't deep down? everybody has feelings, I don't care who you are, you have feelings. Maybe think about that before giving him hassle day in day out, it can't be nice receiving abuse all the time, is there any wonder he's decided to take a break or permanantly gone? who the hell would blame him? is there any wonder he get's pissed off and goes over the top from time to time? he is only human, we'd all be like that, everybody has a breaking point.

I've been working for 18 hours and of course checking this site every other hour lol so I won't keep rambling on, all I will say further is please, show a little more respect to those who deserve it and the eds deserve it on this site more then anybody on here.

I've always said it and always will say it, count your blessings, appreciate the smaller things in life as much as the big, you don't realise what you have until it's gone, believe me, I know.

Respect to you all, the majority of people on here seem like really nice people and I value so many of your opinions.

Let's hope Ed2 can see all the replies to MK's post and notice the majority of us do value him and his time!

We have lost some good info now sone of you have made ed02 take a break. he was the onl one i trust when saying about who we was after, i've been reading comments on here for ages now, and understand how he can get p1ssed off repeating himself time after time, its like when you take kids on day out how many times do u hear "are we there yet" and how many times have you snapped at them? so to all the eds your doing a fantastic job for free we would be lost without you, and be left with the fat kid from bolton.

I happen to agree with the majority of it, but I didn’t use the buttons because I very rarely do.
Some people disagree with the post. Why does that make them childish? They have a different opinion and chose to express it by using the disagree button. People are entitled to disagree without being insulted by you.

I’d like to put this out there:
I don’t know Ed002 so I don’t know how much of an amazing source he is. I don’t doubt for one minute he is an amazing source though he has taught me a great deal about the game.

But I appreciate all his contributions and not just the accuracy of the information he gives. It’s not just the inside information on transfers, it’s not just the incredible depth and breadth of knowledge he has about the game we “claim” to know. I like ed002’s humour and personality.
What I’m saying is, even if Ed002 didn’t have amazing connections and knowledge about the subtleties of the game I’d still miss his contributions. For the majority of the time I find him hilarious. His replies can be acerbic and harsh but I liken that to a great stand-up. He’s not malicious, insults are not meant to seriously offend, they are just harmless jest. I get called out by Ed002 but I don’t take it personally, Ed002 knows I love him 😘.

So that is my take on Ed002 and the personal loss I will feel if he does stop contributing. It’s not about his information for me, it’s about him as a personality.
I could write similar gushing posts about the other Eds but they know how much I value them individually and collectively. 🤝.

Ed002 is a fountain of knowledge and passes it on to us in such detail and so much informed about things, I for one appreciate it, we seem to have lost info from Macca and now perhaps Ed 002, I don't always agree with Ed002 comments but we need proper information so I hope the Eds get through to Ed002 the majority of readers do send thanks for the work put in for us.
Hope I bump into Ed002 in the Hawksmore I will certainly buy a glass of Bubbly and says cheers for the hard work.
