Who else would be De-ligt-ed if we sign a young Dutch CB to the squad?

I was thinking about him earlier and how it would be good to sign him. We haven't been in a position, until now, to develop raw top talent in the first team because we haven't had a strong squad around them to help them. I think with him and Gomez, if Matip and Klavan were to leave that would make for a bright future at the back.

I was going ask the ed's if players ever approach managers to suggest signing particular players without being asked? I mean, I saw Van Dijk was talking him up in the last international break. Would it ever happen that he, as an example, mentions taking a closer look to Klopp?
