I just thought I’d say how lucky I think we are to have bobby in our team I’ve just read that he’s scored 25 goals this season. I was watching our game yesterday and couldn’t believe how meany times you see him busting a gutt to get the ball back off a minfielder that is heading down on our defence I’ve been thinking about this all day and I can’t think of another striker that does this every game. Am lost for words now at how much he has helped our team and give everything in every game no matter if it’s CL or a cold wet FA cup game on a crap pitch I take my hat off to you bobby. And thank you.

Firmino has been the most underestimated player in the league for a couple of years now. He is scoring goals now too and Is quite rightly taking all the plaudits now. The runs he makes off the ball, just to give salah or mane or aoc the space to cause damage. He is the most selfless striker I've seen in a long while, Kenny like selflessness.

We talk about players like gini and Hendo and their ability to keep the ball under pressure, quite tight too but Bobby Firmino not only keeps the ball under pressure but he causes teams problems with his tight possession. Proper Brazilian.

I haven't loved a liverpool player so much since stevie g.

We praise gini and Hendo for their ability to keep the ball under pressure but Bobby makes things happen under pressure. His selfless runs off the ball, just to give salah or aoc some space are a breath of fresh air.

Thing i like about firmino he just opens up things for others. Puts pressure from the top end of our team, comes back to help defend, not afraid of tackling/ defending when needed. Holds up under pressure. He has the lot.

Going forward he can beat a man, find key passes.

most importantly his movement, reminds me of Suarez when he was here. causing problems with his running gives other players space and time to make things happen and it just so happens our 2 on the wing are top notch!

Firmino is just a class act!

Also while im posting i want to shout out to the OX! Honestly ill hold my hands up was sceptical about him, only thought his good perfomances at arsenal came from the middle and was inconsistent that said wenger never gave him a good run. Was my MOTM last game. Has just got better and better over the last few months. Looks a lot more settle now :) Found 2 or 3 top top passes last game, wasnt afraid to drive and have some shots when it opened up and put a shift in the centre. Hats off to him!

I said a few months back that he is my favourite player of the premier league era. I went to my first game in the mid 70's so have seen some outstanding players. I understand Salah getting the headlines, but he is the one player I would hate to lose.

Firmino is great, BUT there is only 1 MVP at Liverpool this season, you have to be blind or a clown to say otherwise when you have the 3rd best player in the world this season. He is the only reason Firmino has got so many more goals than usual, you know 3-4 opponents totally focused on man marking Salah opens up huge spaces for Mane and Firmino. Salah is Liverpool's best and most important player by far, and the only player capable of returning Liverpool back to the glory days. I think people are just in disbelief, when you have a 40 goal player and counting and you still can't give him the credit he deserves there is no hope for us as a fan base.

Salah won't be returning Liverpool back to their glory days on his own. He still needs a team around him and Salah profits from Firmino's selflessness and unselfishness as much as anyone else in the team. Take Salah out of the team and we miss his obvious goal threat. Take Firmino out and we miss the goal threat and the dynamic force that makes the front 3 work like it does.

Nost - I get your point and clearly Salah is our best player. But if you think Salah taking the heat off him is the reason Firmino has so many goals then you need to remember the other way around is also true - a huge number of Salah's chances are made by Firmino drawing defenders in and dragging them away to make sense. All our attackers are a unit and as 3 exceptional forwards, they fail and succeed as a unit. None are quite as effective as the other two.

It speaks volumes that we have more than one player to argue about for best player, we were so used to only having one.
What I will say is about firmino is as well as his great forward play did u guys know he is number 2 on our list of most tackles. now that is some stat for a forward.

Fantastoc to have a few players to argue about as Player of the year. Imagine being a poor Utd fan and giving Player of the Year to De Gea again for the umpteenth time as he almost single handedly keeps Utd in top 4.

Bobbie is the only 25 goal striker I know who NEVER gets the credit in the media that he rightfully deserves and in some way, that is a good thing cos WE know how good he is and also know that w/ o him, there is NO Salah and the other great thing about that is that Salah knows that too. I would not trade him for ANYONE, not even Messi and CR7.
