Klopp didn't mention Emre in the preser. Shall we assume he is out injured stil?

in Jurgens press conference on monday Jurgen said and i quote " emre is very, very close for tomorrow " so i would expect him to play an hour against Neverton tomorrow if it was that close for the city game just gone . You may get an inkling tonight as who is available tomorrow as under23s play arsenal at prenton park TONIGHT kick off 7.00 p. m. so would imagine kane, camacho, masterson, philips won't be involved.

P. S. can't understand how players need resting, Emlyn Hughes played 68 competitive matches one season!

Well something must have happened then mate as it seems he is out tomorrow and out v City second leg and some say he is out for the season! Very hard to understand given Klopp daid he was very close v City. Has he had a setback? Sorry Ed001 but have you got anything on this mate?

{Ed001's Note - it is a back problem, doctors are clueless about the back. The world's foremost expert on back injuries is a Russian circus acrobat who suffered a broken back falling off a trapeze and was told he would never walk again. By totally ignoring doctors' advice he rebuilt his back and became a circus strongman and now has a chain of private hospitals specialising in backs. So it is very much guesswork when it comes to backs.}

If I've learned anything from this site, and I have, it's probably related to his teeth. He should get down to Bobby's dentist ASAP!

Right ok mate thank you for that. I guess no one really knows at the minute and people are guessing.

007, different eras require different health management procedures esp. considering the way we play. Just saying.

{Ed002's Note - Damian Duff suffers from velcro back - they could never get him out of bed in the morning to go training.}

I’m going to disagree with you somewhat there ed. Doctors are very capable of diagnosing and figuring out what is wrong with the back. The problem is. they’re often lacking ideas as to how to fix it. There’s just no perfect fix for most back problems.

Yet chiropractors are making a killing around here. Makes one wonder!

{Ed001's Note - I did not say anything about diagnosis at all, so what are you disagreeing with when you said the exact same thing I did?}

Is it the same back injury that Coutinho had 👀.

Impressed that you know about Valentin Dikul Ed001. I founded a spinal cord injury rehab organisation myself and am familiar with some of Dikul approaches for when there is severe cord damage/ paralysis. Backs are extremely complex and even more so if there’s nervous system damage.

{Ed001's Note - a friend of mine was laid up with a broken back for about 7 years before finding out about him. She was told she would never walk again and never have a day without pain before spending some time in one of his centres.}

That’s an amazing story Ed001. So pleased for your friend. We also have clients that come to us written off medically that go on, with carefully crafted load bearing, closed chain exercises, to recover from their injuries. Give me a shout if you want me to show you our setup.

{Ed001's Note - next time I am in the UK (I am assuming you are there) I would love to have a look round. As someone who suffered a bad back as a child and spent a while laid up because of it, I have always had an interest in it. It was one of the reasons I got into weight training was back pain at work.}

Would love that Ed001. Yes we have 3 centres now - Hemel, Gatwick and Bristol. Our kids one opens next week - Christopher Reeve’s (now you know why that’s my avatar) eldest son Matthew will be cutting the ribbon :)

{Ed001's Note - Bristol is not too far from my daughter either, I sometimes fly from there or to there. What made you found them? And I won't mention anything to me ma or she will want me to badger you about her sciatica!}

Broke my back in 2009 - just a few hours after the 3-1 win against Spurs as it happens. Sami’s last game for us. Decided to put my efforts into creating a social enterprise to help others maximise their potential.

Lol. Your mum and my mum both!

{Ed001's Note - you can't say no to your mam, it is just not worth the hassle and the clip round your ear! Good that you decided to put your efforts into helping others mate, a lot of people don't think that way.}

Thanks for the kind words mate. Hopefully we can host you sometime.

{Ed001's Note - just so long as it is not because I need treatment!}

You said clueless about backs ed. To diagnose something you have to understand how it works under normal conditions and then what went wrong. That’s not being clueless. It’s not worth arguing about mate I think it was just lost in the words.

{Ed001's Note - the discussion was not about diagnosing the injury, it was about how long the injury would keep a player out of the side. Nothing was lost except your reading of the words in the context of the conversation. You were being a pedant without actually bothering to check if you were correct.}
