Ed001 is there any flexibility on the plans to move Trent-Alexander Arnold into midfield in the future? It seems an unnecessary risk to take when the kid can potentially be our right back for the next 15 years and is capable of pocketing one of the most dangerous wingers on the planet, he could make the role his own in time. He'd be moving into a midfield where we plan to spend big money, where we already have a lot of players for and where he has no senior experience. It's not like there are plenty of great full backs around at the minute, there are quite a few great mids though, Trent has the potential to be a cracking full back, he has all the tools.

{Ed001's Note - of course there is flexibility, but it is not an area we are well stocked in particularly and there are 3 that want to leave the club.}

Those three Can, Milner and Lallana Ed?

{Ed001's Note - yes. Though I doubt all 3 will go this summer, it is just as unlikely that Trent shifts into midfield next season. It will, if it still happens, be a gradual change.}

I, for one, hope he stays as right back. He could be our Kimmich. Kimmich was meant to play as a midfielder, but he's now a right back. I think TAA has the tools to be a good right back. I wish Klopp will give him next season to make the role his.

I know he’s on big bucks but I’d like to see Milner stay. Think he can add something throughout the season and be a person the younger players look up to (a role model)
Has anyone shown any interest in him Ed?

On top of his desire to play regularly at this stage of his career and Liverpool looking to add to centre mid. He’ll have a task getting much game time for us I think.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any plans for Milner to be sold James but if he were available at the right price thenI am sure there would be interest from Premier League clubs.}

If Milner chose to leave, the club would let him go for free. At his age, I cannot think of a club willing to pay a transfer fee plus his huge wages.
Personally I would keep him for another season and let Can, lallana and Gini go.

{Ed002's Note - No, Liverpool are not a club who do things like that. Any club he moves to would not be paying him anything like the wages Liverpool do.}

Milner has been playing in a lot of important games recently. I don't see why he would want to swaps nights like last night for mid-table or even potential relegation scraps in the Premier League.

{Ed001's Note - because he wants to play every week. He knows there is a good chance that Keita + A N Other midfielder pushes him down the pecking order next season. Though I expect him to probably stay next season and see how it goes then.}
