I look at Lambourghni’s doesn’t mean I’m going to buy one.

{Ed002's Note - Awful cars, they haven't made a good one since the Muira.}

You forgot Alaba. I would take Alaba all day.

*Which Lambo tickles your pickle ED2?

{Ed002's Note - The Miura was the only one decent car they ever made.}

I like Alaba too PakRed, but I think that's taking it a bit fair. Which I certainly didn't do! 😉.

On the subject of Lamborghini, I took a Gallardo for a spin on a track day. I got it to 120mph on the quarter mile straight, and felt no excitement at all. It is too mechanical and neat.

On the same day I took out a much older Ferrari, that happened to be the previously owned yellow 360 of David Beckham. Wow. Nowhere near as fast or as good grip, but at 105mph I felt like I was flying.

I plan on going back soon, now I feel a little more comfortable with paddle shift supercars! But I would never drive a Lamborghini again based on that experience.

'Everyman Racing', for anyone interested. You can get photos and videos as souvenirs. Next time I go, I'm going to drive the Nissan GTR and the DB9. I suspect the Audi R8 would feel as rigid and boring as the Gallardo did. Too much tech, not enough vroom! Ed002 is correct though. Lamborghini don't make good cars, they make boring but efficient machines.

I used to have a two seater once, not a Lamborghini I hasten to add. Now I have an X1, yeah it doesn’t look cool but it’s a good family car and most importantly. Gets all my Carp fishing gear in! 😎

Anyone else on here put their wits against the big specimines?!

Quite some time ago, I drove a Ferrari F50 Enzo from Modena to Maranello. Was on a factory tour, to launch the company in my country (didn't work out eventually) . I still remember the g-forces on my chest when I pressed the accelerator (on stretches with open road) . Visited Pagani the next day. What a car the Zonda is.

Did you drive the Zonda ra? If so what was it Like? Always wanted to drive one of those. Like the Koenigsegg, it seems to get forgotten about in supercar discussions because it isn't as glamourous as Ferreri, Aston, McLaren or Lambo.

Lamborghini make far from boring cars infact they are renound for making crazy widow makers, granted the newer models have been made safer to sell to a wider market but to say Lambos are boring shows a distinct lack of car knowledge.

I’m betting you owned one too ed?

{Ed002's Note - No I have never owned a Miura, my preference was always elsewhere.}

MK - No, unfortunately there wasn't a Pagani available to drive, but I would have absolutely loved it. I just saw 2 of them being in various stages of being built, and sat in one for a short time. 12Liter AMG engine! The supercar to watch is the Zenvo 😉.

GBB86, it isn't about knowledge mate so I find it quite rude that you would just dismiss a personal preference because you know what a drive shaft or shock absorber is. I'm speaking from first hand experience as a matter of opinion. I am not a car person at all. I enjoyed the thrill of driving a super car because I used to be an engineer on the lights for them in a previous job, but I am no expert on any other part of a car and haven't claimed to be.

The Ferrari just felt more special. I didn't feel like I was driving the Lamborghini. I felt like it was driving me. That is nothing to do with knowledge, that is just how it made me feel. If you disagree, then fine. My opinion isn't wrong just because you have a different one. "Boring" is a subjective term. Yet you claim they're not boring and that anyone who disagrees lacks knowledge, as though your opinion is a Fact. That is majorly arrogant.
