Would we actually go in for Doucoure? And is he actually decent? I know some on here are keen, not seen enough of him myself to know if he is good enough for us.

He’s a very good centre midfielder, he’d add physical presence and a bit of steel to our midfield too. Add to that he is keen on joining and he could be a shrewd purchase.

Not a fan at least in terms of what we need or the type of player that Klopp usually prefers. The midfielders we are targeting this summer look to be a DLP with good passing range like Jorginho/ Meyer and an attacking midfielder like Ceballos or Lemar who can also fill in for the front 3.

not many players can impress you ed001, might need a player review on him to see why you rate him so much ey. haha.

never seen him play myself, but with Can leaving, really wouldn't mind adding someone with physical presence in our team. there are games this season where i really felt we needed it.

I haven't seen him enough to say one way or the other but he does seem very composed. Also, he can't half strike the ball sweetly and his technique is excellent. I've seen at least 2, maybe 3 goal of the month contenders from him this season.

Doucoure is an absolute baller. Big, rangy and can play. Will be a star in a 'big' team, with no disrespect intended to Watford/ or it's fans.

I like him, he is a bit of a headless chicken at times though. definitely has the physical presence and ability, just worry about him tactically. Think there are better options out there for us but trust Klopp either way.

We should absolutely go for him - physical but always in control and very composed. Also capable of opening play up with excellent vision and passing range.

Not 100% finished article yet, but there’s a touch of Viera about him IMO, with a leggy stride but still always graceful across the turf and in full control.

and its very rare that he misses a game, he has this physical presence, that we will need once Can leaves, he also has a great engine,
plus, its obvious that our midfield needs an overhaul,
