I can understand people wanting players rested for the Everton game, but realistically, if we don't win are you all prepared for Ron to become all mopey and sad again? He was like negative reds little brother for a while ;)

The CL represents our only chance of a trophy this season so it makes sense for Klopp to prioritise that match 🤝.

Personally I'd rest Firmino, stick Ings in for the 90 minutes. Have Salah on for about 60 minutes. I'd also rest Robbo and stick Moreno in.

We don't have the luxary of being able to rest players. If we somehow dropped points to that lot then Chelsea would be right on our tails with good fixtures to come. Play our first choice 11 from the start, let them destroy Everton and then take off the fab 3 after 60 odd mins.

City have Utd that weekend. They won’t be resting players.

Let’s hope Utd make it really tough for them and take the edge off for us. I really would be tempted to rest the King. That away goal is vital and how many times have Everton injured our players over the years? It was Mane last year.

{Ed025's Note - i like to see liverpool supporters become united lovers even if its only for selfish reasons mr plums, so what your looking for is for united to give their all against city and for everton to roll over and not tackle too hard in case one of the glass virgins in the liverpool side gets a nasty bruise?, good luck with that mate.. :)

We haven't played many domestic cup games. It's not like our players have had a gruelling 60 odd game season so far. We now have a decent size squad and can put out two different teams almost.

I expect us to try and kill the game off by half time so we can bring off Firmino and salah. Wouldn't be surprised if moreno started against Everton and Hendo is rested.

Everton are the last team I would want to play before our massive quarter final. They will try to break salah leg or even worse knock one of Firmino's Teeth out.
