Best thing about yesterday for me was seeing a player who’s having such a good season has not rested on their laurels and has obviously been working on their weakness. Step forward Mo’s right foot! Good man Mo, it looked powerful yesterday and is really going to add a dimension to his game when defenders can’t just try to keep him on that side.

Totally agree a lot of people (myself including) criticising
Salah for not using his right more or not taking his chances with his weaker foot but fair play to him he showed yesterday just how different class he is.

I don’t care which foot he uses. 28 premier league goals is exceptional. The boy is a real talent and a real bargain .

I know what u mean FMS, and I don’t care either except for when he has squandered opportunity by eith not using his right or it being poor. I know it seems churlish when he’s scoring so many anyway, but the likes of Ronaldo don’t sit back they push and push to get better and better and it looks like Salah is doing the same. Let’s call a spade a spade, he’d prob be in 35 goals if his right foot had been more than a swinger most of the season. The guys doing so well, let’s just hope we can keep him!

Salah on this form gives us a fighting chance against Citeh over two legs, their defenders won't fancy it!

Salah puts defenders on the back foot straight away, if they sit deep he can do them with quick feet and if they let him run at them he’ll burn them with pace.

In addition to his constant improvement, do not discount the great work being done behind the scenes by the coaching crew and Salah's team mates. Salah mentioned recently that he was not as clinical in Roma as he now is here cos he did not play as close to goal (he was a foil for Dzeko) as he now does. Klopp has reshaped the attack to allow mo to play closer to goal with Mane and Bobbie dropping deep more to play the no. 10 role. Salah is the only one who does not do that cos clearly, he is being asked to take up those spaces that Mane or Bobbie create whenever they drop deep.

Salah is having an unfathomable season BUT it would be near irresponsible not to mention in the same breathe, the great work of those around him and the influence Klopp has had on him by moving Mo up a couple of notches from where Spaletti at Roma (who built the Mo who came to us) had taken him.

Considering Salah was the forth choice signing it would be pretty hard to see how the other 3 could have played any better. A real catch at, what looks now like a very good price.

Irish, this also shows that Klopp does not think that highly of himself as a manager. He is all about the club's success and not about himself. He was open to being convinced by his assistants and underlings about things he may not have been sure about regarding Salah and thankfully, he saw why his assistants insisted that they sigh Salah.

Another good thing about this story is that Klopp actually gave the credit for Salah coming in, to his assistants and his scouts and did not take the credit for himself. I know a couple of managers who would have acted differently and made everything about them and how brilliant they are.
